Hi, we are not happy with the video stabilization on our Hero 10. It seems to work better on our Hero 8. Any ideas to improve it on the 10? Thanks

I'm bit confused as the conclusion don't match the actual reality when the Hero 9 & 10 are compared -it's worth the extra cost. The Hero 10 is clearly better and it DOES function as a much better "webcam" than your typical "webcams" rather it's for streaming or recording (when setup with Cam Link, Media Mod, battery bank, proper lighting) so the commentary about that doesn't make much sense either.

Most of the negative comments I've found come from people whom simply don't know how to set up the GoPro Hero10 properly for the given task. Do a bit of research on how to best set up the GoPro Hero 10 to use as a webcam / recording video and you'll see that it works quite nicely for this.

I am new to action cameras I bought the dji combo edition exclent quality build saying that I didn't like the image quality some people were saying it had a focus issue I didn't won't to take the risk and I returned it and got my money back saying that I like the gopro 10 here there his a combo edition with a couple of batteries and a mini tripod.. However I nead some help to be able to edit gopro video what spec pc do I nead.. I don't won't my video to be longer than 30 minutes max... Any help his apriciated wish you well

Question: I am reading everywhere that you need to use the Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter for an external mic, yet when I plugged my Rode Videomicro right into the camera, it seems to work just fine. Am I missing something?

It's a shame they haven't figured out good audio yet, especially when the GoProMax actually has much better sound than any GoPro but it does have like 6 mics to sample

good video, I'm actually going to buy this for a dash cam for my car. Every video i watch on dash cams they all have horrible quality if it's not for daytime then it's bad for nighttime and vice versa. Its probably over kill but worth the money it seems with great video quality.

Can I use it for close up shots? Or a add on lens that can do that?

DO NOT BUY GOPRO (even 10 model), you won't be able to download videos (2.7k) longer than 4 minutes to your IOS device. I lost so many sessions because of this. This is broken from A YEAR and they still didn't fixed it. Ridiculous...

Hi. I have 1 easy question. Everytime I take the battery out of GoPro and then put it back the GoPro still needs to set up time and date. It is very annoying setting it up if I take the battery out.
Is there a possibility to solve this somehow? Thank you in advance.

I just got the GoPro hero 10 and I’m unimpressed especially because of the low light performance. I’m convinced my iPhone takes better footage. I got the creator bundle. So I’m planning on returning and using that money for a zoom lens and wireless mic for my Sony A7C. I was looking for something portable for traveling but I think my iPhone will suffice for what I’m using it for ie. Vlogging.

Nope after 7 minutes of recording it overheats and dosnt come back on so you have to wait 15 minutes to start recording again even on a full battery. After waited 15 minutes to cool down I started recording again then 7 minutes it overheated again so I waited another 15 minutes to cool down because it would not turn on when it overheated. So my battery was 67% so I started recording again and 7 minutes it overheated again so I packed it and drove to the store quickly in that same day and returned it I will never buy a gopro they are useless and the company lies

I purchased a GoPro Hero 10. It was delivered last week. It has a record time of 1 hour before the battery dies or it overheats and shuts down. GoPro support told me that 1 hour is about right but he is escalating to engineering.
So far it looks like a complete waste of money and time.

I hear y’all talking about overheating, but I just bought the Hero 10 Black at BestBuy before going to Zion and attached it to the hood of the car for 28 minutes at 4k60 and no issues! Maybe it’s been resolved with update? Idk but so far no problems for me.

What would you suggest if I’m shooting POV 😏 shot?? We already have the camera just kinda hard choosing which features. Please advise
