Illegal immigration, especially in the moderately skilled, is a form of de-regulation...they are not in a position to say 'no' to machine refinishing on critical parts.

Here we are in the U.S. suffering from a huge employment crisis. We can't find enough people to work in pretty much every industry. Our supply chain is failing and we're turning away people who want to come here to work. It makes zero sense.

Workers pay wouldn't be such a big deal if the price of housing wasn't so high in America and that is actually something that we can take control over by implementing certain housing law reforms laws like property tax raising property taxes raises the amount of rent that property owners ask tenants to pay zoning laws which prevent more affordable housing to be placed in certain neighborhoods

I would like to see CNBC do a piece on why America actually need immigrants 2 work in America and some of the things I have noticed is a lack of affordable housing in some of the areas where the jobs are whether they are service related jobs hospitality or manufacturing the average American cannot live in the areas where some of these jobs are located. However immigrants don't have this problem because the immigrant will relocate to a neighborhood or an area move into a home or apartment with multiple friends or family members that is centrally located near the jobs they plan to work. look at corporate America corporate America's hub for employment is located mostly in cities downtown areas and what they are doing is building condos and apartments in or near downtown areas or redeveloping entire communities right outside the downtown area so they would no longer have to commute in order to get to work. The average worker is not able to afford a home in certain areas and zoning laws prevent affordable housing or low income housing to be built in those communities and this is one of the main drivers of job shortages in some areas it would be funny if it wasn't sad but the fact that certain homeowners don't want multifamily housing in their communities because they are afraid that the price of their homes will go down are actually fueling labor shortages in America.

I realize you posted this years ago but it's never too late to get educated. I was a house painter in the early 80's earning 18.00 an hour, in 2000 the wage was 12 to 15.00 an hour thanks to illegal immigrants coming here and working for a lot less, they would have a one-bedroom apartment and more than a few would live there sending their money back to Mexico. It was a job I was forced into not doing because it was insulting to me having dedicated my whole life to the trade, I ended up driving a truck. Let them come here, get educated and do your job for 11.00 an hour and see how much you like doing it then.

Biden’s spending spree and immigration plans.
What you get: high gas and food prices, inflation, Vac mandates, and cold winter.
What illegals get: no Vac mandate, $1,000,000 in cash, flights to middle of USA during the night; housing, medical, education, and no voter ID.

Supply and demand is a simple economic concept. Lots of low skilled poor people (the majority of our current immigrants) makes for low wages. In addition the environment suffers as the US population is the most consumptive and has the highest emissions per capita on earth. High skilled educated immigrants may be a benefit , but they are a small number of the total who are mostly uneducated and unskilled. AFA taxes go, the numbers are dishonest. A kid born to illegals is a citizen so the eduction and welfare costs of all those kids, >300,000/years are not counted.

The IMF is advocating for more immigrants but wait, look, see. The UK cannot feed itself. It will starve in a climate constrained over populated world. The IMF is living the delusion that Capitalism can support and enjoy endless growth, even when threatened with serious Global Warming and over population! ie. The IMF is an incompetent, backward and out of date institution. This video is irrelevant. Strict population control and climate policies are needed, not baby talk economic analysis.

The very system that neglects the most vulnerable in society within its
borders is the same that handily abuses refugees seeking asylum. The
result is an attitude by citizens to claim that "we cannot take care of
refugees, because we struggle to take care of our own citizens." Those
who make this claim fail to see that it is the system they abide in and
its policies that are to blame for this disgrace, not refugees fleeing
persecution and violence, seeking to live in peace. Pointing the finger
to the refugee and not the power is not only misguided, but paves the
way for the rise of alt-right Nazis who will handily take your passivity
as agreement with them. That's why it's important to openly and loudly
reject this anti-immigrant/refugee position.

(Escape from debt constraints to freedom of money)

When a university student finds himself revolving around a non-renewable routine, all that he reaps at the end of each month goes without saving, and thus prevails economic pessimism that is not beneficial because of the high expenses of life and the consequent taxes and is often the main reason for emigration to search for a life
Better finances to secure the future.

How long will the intellectual continue to work and receive a salary?

And spend it without being able to make a lucrative saving, draining all the days of youth and finally for nothing?

Therefore, when the idea of immigration appears to the educated, talented or thinker person, the circumstances of the exit of that idea came after patience, which did not yield any positive result.

There are those who decide to leave and there are those who decide to emigrate so that they can save a profitable amount at the end of each month

This is the answer to the question that says: Why do people leave their homelands as long as the homelands provide them with a decent life?

Answer: A decent life for the majority without money is not enough because people are not able to save generous amounts at the end of each month.

The decision to immigrate is often correct and beneficial to earn money.

LIES !
$369 million dollars daily.
That's how much Americans pay in taxes to support "undocumented" residents.
They cost us far more than what they contribute. And that figure does not include prison, legal and damages to Americans.

What if there's a neutral "country" created at sea supported by billionaires, rich people who want to help and (dubiously) responsible countries, organisations, a kind of huge artificial land where immigrants stuck at sea could settle in and live in for indefinite periods of time. Or better yet, why not several? It would take a lot of man power and money, some kind of defense and rules too, protection against tornadoes/cyclones/tsunamis. It's just an idea inspired from a sci-fi book I read, and something I wanted to share.
