The problem with gold and silver is that one buys at a higher price than one can sell it for, so one's investment basically loses value at the time it is purchased. It must increase in the value of that difference just for one to break even.

I think my job in wind energy will last a few more years even through a recession. If so, I plan to buy, buy, buy. I’m not hoping for a crash but if and when it does, I sure hope to be prepared.
