I have seen a number of .coins offered for such a ridiculously low price that it should be obvious that the coins fake. Many of the coins looks like their quality is about the same a play money sold at the local dollar store and just scream fake.
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьAwesome, thanks
ОтветитьThank you for a great video! You inspired me to make a video on ancient coins. Keep an eye out for it!
ОтветитьI wonder why shipping is so expensive in MA shops, I can ship an insured package to the moon with such prices
ОтветитьThumb's up for another helpful and educational presentation. I only wish I could give it two for the additional exhaustive resources in the 'Description'.
ОтветитьI have a question, what are all of the safe sites that will give me real coins?
ОтветитьThis is an excellent video, especially for those starting out. It was for me. "Buy the best coin you can afford" (within your budget of course) and "Buy a coin you'll still like years later" has prevented me from buying coins I wish I hadn't. TY.
ОтветитьWhat I can regommend is to copy the pictures of the coins your are intressted open it with a photo software and examine the coin and comapre it with sources like wildwinds. This can help you to see what some other might not see and it might help you to avoid fakes. Especially when you can compare the die, the legends with an original. Besides this it helps you to determine if the avers and the reverse of the coin make sense or ist it a mule or a fake like the modern fakes from Gordianus III.
ОтветитьI'm having indian ancient coin
ОтветитьThese auction houses all require references to register. Three references from auction houses i have purchased at before. Which seems strange, because not everyone has bid at auctions before, unless ebay counts?
ОтветитьWhat payment method does VCoins accept, I cannot find a clear answer online.
ОтветитьThanks for the information.
ОтветитьFrank S. Robinson has several auctions of ancient coins each year. No buyer's fee and good selection. An excellent source for both the beginning and advanced collector. He actually often lowers winning bids if he thinks the bidder has bid too high.
ОтветитьLove the content..love the presentation...love the accent...thanks for great information
ОтветитьI am very happy today, having won my first Roman (Republic) coin in the Savaco 100 auction! It is my very first ancient coin! But on another topic, I had a question in regards to certain information I saw within the description area of a Greek coin auction at another auction house. So if you can tell me, what does the "1h" mean in the following description -- "9.15g - 22.6mm - 1h." I know what the g and mm refer to but I am not sure what the 1h means.
ОтветитьHow could I know if the auction houses are overpriced? and is really NGC graded drives the coin prices up? Hope you could notice me :D
ОтветитьHi I have a 1888 old coin here if you want to buy just pm me
ОтветитьThank you for making this channel. Can you do a video on Coins from Rhodes, Selling coins, and Buying on Ebay. Thx!
ОтветитьAre E Bay auctions safe? I'm a new collecting and Ive been collecting since October of 2020, recently I have been going on ebay and making my auctions there with currently half success. Is their any other places you recommend that I can purchase Roman coins at all? Thank you much.
ОтветитьThanks for this video
ОтветитьTnx for this vids im now starting to collect ancient coins, i need tips from you, hope u can help me
ОтветитьI would also visit Vcoins and Ma coins, various sellers with a guarantees on product.
ОтветитьThat is an excellent overview of the process. There are no price sheets for ancients!
ОтветитьBesides SIXBID and NUMISBIDS, I would also recommend BIDDR as a proven auction platform :-).
ОтветитьThank you for your videos!!
