Is there a way to record directly to the external storage? I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max 128gb and i want to record ProRes 4k 60fps in an external storage
ОтветитьThis is a game changer for me thank you!! Im here recording footage, then waiting until the next day to let it sync to the iCloud overnight, then the next morning I can work on it on my MacBook and from there save the files on to my external SSD. This will literally cut a full day from filming to editing.
Ответитьthank you for sharing with us :)
is it possible to edit in capcut app straingt from external storage or have to upload it on iphone before?
Thank you for explaining how why extra power is needed to power up the external hard drive. I didn't realize this. Great video.
ОтветитьSo it’s ok to delete from my phone once transferred to the flash drive?
ОтветитьOnly just found your video ❤ @Kamani Brown 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Give yourself a pat on the back. It’s so simple to follow. Thx 😜
ОтветитьWhat is the advantage of using this lightning drive over just putting a SSD adapter straight into the iPhone that's the big question? Is this faster?
ОтветитьSo helpful thank you! But what if I want to transfer 30k plus videos and pictures from iPhone to my external hard drive (seagate) what would be the best way? Would I need to use a PC or Mac? Could you make a video on that please ?🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьThank you, this was very helpful I watched a lot of videos but this one was the most clear an comprehensible 😊
ОтветитьMy hero Kamani
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьCan i copy 4k videos with this method ( HEVC) 4k
ОтветитьI can’t get my external hard drive to show up on my files on my iPhone? Even though it works with my computer and I have it plugged into extra power?
ОтветитьYou made are life easier when it comes to video and photography
ОтветитьPlease answer this question. Can videos be transferred to the USB using this adapter and be read and seen on the iPhone after being transferred?
ОтветитьWhen I was growing up, my mother always taught me to be a gentleman. Give her nice compliments, open the door for her, give her flowers, walk her to the door when you drop her off at home etc. etc. But over the years, more often than not, I have found this to not be the case. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen some of the sweetest most beautiful women go for the less cordial guy. In fact, many of them seem to go for the all out colossal jerks!! I’ve seen this so many times I lost count! It’s mind boggling! There’s a lot of good guys out there who try to be a gentleman and do the right thing, only to be embarrassed, belittled and face rejection, while watching her go for the jackwagon who treats her like crap, leaving the nice guy wondering where he went wrong. I’ve been trying to figure that out for years!
ОтветитьHey món, what would you recommend for an IPhone15 USBA to USBC cable to use for CarPlay & charges too? Proven to work?
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍
Ответитьuse a powered adaptor
ОтветитьCopying photos and movies using Image Capture took 5 minutes for 1585 items equaling 9.46GB - iPhone 12 Pro with Lightening to Apple Mac M1 USC-C running Ventura 13.6. This included jpg, heic, mov and a few dng files (which are RAW images). If you just want to backup photos to your Mac, Image Capture is a good option.
Ответитьthank you Man you are a pro!
ОтветитьCan you backup all your photos and videos using this method in the external ssd? For example my photos and vids are around 200gb as of the moment.
ОтветитьThank you. I just tried selecting all my album photos/videos together > up arrow > Save to Files > browse then choose your external HD > Save. Worked Perfectly fine for all the album!
ОтветитьCool I like this tip.
But i do thing little different 😀 I like using ICloud. And i take 1 000 of pictures. I have 5 TB pictures to my PC.
Not always from IPhone, mostly from Samsung, very easy to do from Samsung, that's just wifi share, and done.
From my IPhone, true ICloud with only 5GB (don't buy ICloud space) I sett setting to save original size on ICload and phone.
And just download picture from ICloud on PC to Hardrive make sure original size.
Ahahahahahahahahahahaah😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Avete scoperto il fuoco🔥 ??!?
ОтветитьThere will be an update to fix that soon, Apple not going to let people bypass iCloud. They making millions
ОтветитьI have a couple old ipod touchs (6th generation), one is version 12.5.3 the other is 12.5.4. I bought a lighting male to female usb adapter to transfer photos to it via usb stick while I'm out of town and without access to my pc. I plug in the adapter and usb drive and they both light up as "on" and the ipods recognize it and even open up the photos app when its plugged in, but when I got to transfer the files, the usb device does not show up in my files app like it shows in your video. All I have on mine is "iCloud Drive" and "Recently Deleted". Do I need a third party app as a go between or something? I've also tried selecting the photos and "saving to files" but there is no option to place the photos in a folder as there is nothing under the "on my ipod" dropdown.
ОтветитьCan I copy my entire "photos" folder over because I have 60,000 of them?
ОтветитьThank you for this amazing video. I would like to find out if PDF files can also be transferred and if the lightning to USB 3.0 works on iPad 9th gen. I plan on getting an iPad 9th generation for school, but I want to be sure first.
ОтветитьAwesome mate thanks for helping.
Best video so far I have seen
I try this and it only works if u transferring picture.. but whenever I try to transfer video... it doesnt give option to copy, anyone have the same problem ?
Ответитьjust learned something new never knew about this!
ОтветитьAwesome!!! I am trying to move my uploaded songs from my iphone 12 to another iPhone but I haven’t had success. I don’t own s laptop any way this can be done?
ОтветитьCopy each photo 1 by 1 ?🤔
ОтветитьGreat video! I would like to ask you for advice. I have two hard drives (formatted in exFat) that I normally use on a PC. I tried to connect them via Hub to the iPad (Air m1) but they turn on without the iPad recognizing them. How could I solve it? I also changed the adapter but nothing. Let me start by saying that until some time ago they were read without the slightest problem.
ОтветитьIs the original date and time stored for screen records/ screenshots? The only way I’ve found that can do this so far is by sending them to a mac and putting them in a drive from there
ОтветитьBut how do you download 50,000 images? That is very hard and I can't figure out how to do it.
ОтветитьWow now this is really interesting and a great video!!! I have one of those adapters here and have never imagined doing what you just did, thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьПользователи Айфон открывают для себя старые возможности смартфонов на андроид, правда они не знают, что такой способ будет очень медленным, ведь там установлен USB 2.0, в отличие от других флагманов на андоид.
ОтветитьO this is going to be awesome on iPhone 15 pro with usb C
ОтветитьI tried this and it just works great! Thanks for sharing this mate, really helped a lot! The only thing to really remember is to make sure the external drive is in exFAT format. I didn't do this at first and it was in FAT32 and the copying took hell of a time (20 pics around 20-30 minutes). The only thing I noticed is that why are some of the pictures saved as JPEG and most are in HEIC format?
ОтветитьMy phone says the usb requires to much power. I guess Apple blocks it on the 12
ОтветитьThanks so much I even upgraded iCloud and my phone still full. Going to try this thanks so much 😊
ОтветитьWill this work if you are using a 2TB SSD? How big can the SSD be in order for this to work?
Ответитьdoes this work for iPhone videos?
ОтветитьYeah I thought this was common knowledge the problem I run into is it takes soooo long to try and transfer 100k’s of photos and dozens of gb’s
ОтветитьThat’s image by image, it’s not a viable way to backup batch images or entire library. It’s easier to backup images from iCloud or by connecting iPhone to a computer and saving the raw files from MacOS raw file app.
ОтветитьThank you so much for your video. I just happened upon it today. I have been wondering how to do just what you did. I went to the Apple Store and asked them the very question, “How can I download pictures from the iPhone to free up some space. And they told me it was not possible. The only option is to upload to iCloud. Here is the kicker: Once you upload them to iCloud, you can’t delete them from your phone. If you do, it will delete the pics from iCloud too. What’s the point of iCloud if you cannot use it to store files and free up space on your phone?
ОтветитьWow! Thank you so much.. you just gain another follower here.. thank you so much.
