Spreadsheets #1: Introduction

This helped me to make my very own personal LibreOffice Calc based financial overview.

Where I now only have to put in the amount of money I have on my bank account at every month's 1st and then automatically see how much I can spend/draw from my banking account. Because it automatically calculates away all costs like flat rent, power bill etc. which I have listed into it aswell. So that I can edit it if fees change and to have good overview about running costs.

I even placed a second list on the right side, right next to my first, in the same document. All of it is visible at once, on my 1080p screen. At this second area, I've created a listing space with arrows, to see where to input data (purchase + amount). There, I can put in every single purchase and amount of money I spend for it and it then automatically calculates how much money I have left to spend :) Without risking to touch necessary amounts of money, that are required to stay, for running costs! :D

Your instructions about how to make it calculate things and how to manage from what area it takes input values to calculate with, greatly helped me.

I think there is an insane secret. Spreadsheets were the first killer app and i think it will be the last too. AI aside, the interface between our work we might want to do and the computer - we have not and possibly will not ever supercede the spreadsheet.

Excel is made quite simple here. Used to avoid it a lot for the fear that it was difficult but as I was watching the video I kept asking myself what is actually difficult. Just saved the video, I will follow it up as he has said and see if I get the same results as he has.
