I am sorry to hear Dr. Scher is not going to be the wonderful moderator/educator on TDD because I love how he approaches and conducts interviews with respect and active listening. I will certainly subscribe to his new YT channel. I sincerely hope TDD staff continue to press on as they've been doing. The mission serves a vital purpose! Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьMetabolic mind has become a wonderful channel, the session on Acid Ketosis is awesome. Thank you for what you guys are doing.
ОтветитьYou are great. What a loss for dietdoctor. I doubt they will be able to find someone else at your level. Super bravo.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for everything Dr. Scher! (Btw I tried reaching you guys on Instagram, let me know if my message went through)
ОтветитьDr. Scher , you will be greatly missed. Thank you for helping us through the murky waters of data and information in the dietary world. You expertly distilled the truthful, reliable and useful information for our use. Thank you again, and God bless.
ОтветитьWhere have you been?
ОтветитьI love it that you’re focusing on it METABOLIC MIND ❤
ОтветитьMiss the videos! Hope they keep doing the podcast
ОтветитьIf carbs minus fiber = net carbs, can someone take fiber supplements to lower their total net carbs?
ОтветитьThank you for all of the content in each and every video. Diet Doctor has helped change my life! Thank you for your professionalism.
ОтветитьI will miss your Podcast, that where one of my favorite. Good Luck for your new endeavor.
Ответитьwhat happened to the channel? no more videos since three months?

I have RA. My rheumatologist wants to put me on Methotrexate but my neutrophils are a little low, 1.6. My blood tests are taken while I’m fasting in the morning. Could this account for my slightly lower count? My monocytes are fine.
Thank you. I hope your "pause" is a short one and that Diet Doctor resumes in the future.
ОтветитьI have been on Keto/carnivore for 3 years. Lost 40 lbs. A1C was 5.9 now its 5.2. Triglycerides were 450 now they are 85. Total cholesterol was way down...Doctor told me every visit I was a rock star because of my blood work was awesome....then I had my 4th in my life CAC Score. It's a CT scan of your heart checking for calcium in your arteries. Before keto I had a 24% percent yearly increase in my CAC Score. Eating all that Saturated fat for 3 years was making my blood labs look great...but it was killing me. I had another scan last week and my score shot up to a 45% annual increase. Got a score of 226. 2 years ago it was 108. 4 years ago it was 56. If you do keto maybe only do it for a year max. I'm still eating low carb...but now it's low fat also. This means I increase my carbs but eat carbs that have fiber also. Sucks as I loved eating beef, bacon, butter and eggs.
ОтветитьSir please answer it is safe to do low carb diet for a life time becz I am 27 year old and diabetic
ОтветитьWhat happened to diet doctor ???
ОтветитьAre you going to replace dr Scher
ОтветитьI haven't seen any new posts from this channel. That's a bummer, I've enjoyed the short health and nutrition updates. What gives?
ОтветитьI was wondering if you could do a video on meat safety. I had a former classmate pass away before Christmas from the human form of mad cow disease. I know that chronic wasting disease is also becoming a bigger issue. Me personally, I’ve been trying to make sure I purchase from a reputable source and look for USDA certified. We’ve also been told the reason why eggs are so high is due to culling chickens with bird flu. I can’t find any helpful sources. So many people are hunters and depend upon these animals for their survival. Can you help? Is there anything else I’m missing? USDA has limited outdated information.
ОтветитьBring back Dr Scher .......
ОтветитьWhere are the videos ?
ОтветитьWhat happened to Diet Doctor? They were the most knowledgeable Keto/Low carb channel we ever had. Miss you!!
ОтветитьWonderful work - very grateful.
ОтветитьThank you so much doctor, Scher. You have been a great resource for my health.
ОтветитьYou’re amazing and I will follow you in the new endeavor. Does DD have a replacement to keep this going?
ОтветитьSo very much appreciated!
ОтветитьWill miss your videos on diet doctor,, your personality, warmth care & commitment to the community as a whole. But metabolic health & mental health so important too as the psychiatric approach to mental health is medication that just mostly increases the hunger drive & thus increases the weight for those that need psychiatric medication. You do a great & noble service
ОтветитьDr. Scher, could you do an episode on some of the studies on fiber? Why do all these studies conclude we need lots of it, when that might not be true, etc.
ОтветитьI'll miss Diet Doctor news!
ОтветитьJust heard about this transition today. Best wishes in the new venue. As a student of neuroplasticity and with awareness of Perlmutter's "Grain Brain" and Lustig's "The Hacking of the American Mind," it seems this will be an interesting and exciting challenge to bridge several apparently related disciplines. Will see you on the Metabolic Mind platform and am glad you will continue to serve on DD's advisory board.
ОтветитьIs 470mg of cholesterol to much ?
ОтветитьI love this Channel ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьThank you👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьDr. Bret Scher, I am forever grateful to you!!! It was watching your podcasts that truly got me started on my health journey. I have reversed or put into remission my type 2 Diabetes and high blood pressure. I am 57 years old and have dieted my entire adolescent and adult life. I found Diet Doctor by chance and it, especially your podcasts, made a major difference in life. I’ve lost over 70 pounds and I feel so much better than I have in many years. I appreciate you and your passion for helping the masses learn the truth!!
ОтветитьI have appreciated your news, analysis of research, and interesting interviews. You’ve presented perspective without the hyperbole often found in other parts of the nutrition space. Your work has truly been a public service. Thank you, and best wishes!
ОтветитьThank you for all your information and for being real and saying when a study was poor or inconclusive
ОтветитьI love your science-based approach and how you try to get to the truth rather than just accepting a study's headline.
ОтветитьLooking forward to following you on the new channel !!
ОтветитьThank you for all the informative interviews
ОтветитьSo grateful you’re doing the new initiative!!!
ОтветитьMany people who have switched to a plant free/carnivore diet report relief from depression, anxiety and other mental issues. So that will be a fruitful subject to dive into. Thanks for all you have done to get the info out.
ОтветитьAn outstanding medical leader who has helped thousands on a global scale with advice based on well researched and measured evidence. Forever thankful Dr. Scher!
ОтветитьGratitude to you for all you've taught and shared.
Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
Thank you Dr Scher 🌼
Brett you have been my favourite. Your integrity and patient interviews are outstanding. I always trusted what you present.
ОтветитьIt is so frustrating to see family and friends that will not listen to the truth about nutrition, Even to the point of them having open heart surgery, and their Doctor telling them to go right back to eating like they did before, just cut out the red meat, but the Cheerio`s are ok,...and this is a person with diabetes the heart doctor is telling to eat more carbs.
