Just saying, the owner of Manjaros stole the sauce and menu from the original restaurant 'Kilimanjaro's'.

The guy was a chef and whilst Apollo (Kilimanjaros owner) was out of the country, the chef ran off with the recipe and his menu and stole money from the restaurant to set up his own place, the Manjaros restaurant you see on the main road. Sheraz is a wrongun. Always has been. To be honest I'm surprised you got your parmo hot on the same day!

Sheraz has assaulted rival staff, committed arson, and destroyed Apollo business, running him out of town.

Chicken Parmo is what all mainstream Takeaways serve now you have to go further into the deeper depths of Middlesbrough to find shops selling a Pork Parmo -much nicer. There used to be a restaurant called" The Europa" which was the best by far.

Nice video first time seen you ! Should point out though as I live here the Parmo didn't originate at Manjaros - that came along a long time later - it was rumoured to be from the late 1950s developed by a USA Army Chef who opened the American Grill on Linthorpe Road . I personally remember the Europa on Borough road in the 80s/90s and that was originally Veal/Pork before switching to the more Halal friendly chicken options. Manjaros is now though one of the top rated in the area for the Parmo. Food looks mint :)

I had a Parmo from there... It was hideous! Never eaten something that that was clearly concocted to compete with a greesy donner kebab be eaten on a Saturday night out! Hideous....
