Great video - only thing I would have like to have added was what was the speed without the adapter?

What type of cable do you think is more suitable for Starlink? I have cat5e but I am hearing to get cat8 or cat6 lol. How many cats are there? SMH.

May be a dumb question, but Is the router always putting out a wifi signal? Im using the ethernet adapter, Im on a desktop and I dont use wifi anything and I dont want to set and bake in that stuff.

I live in a rural area of Mexico and have had Starlink for almost a year. I also have a TV streaming service and during peak hours, live shows like MSNBC constantly freeze and stutter… just when someone is speaking. Drives me crazy. I have high download speeds and no problem using my iphone, ipad and imac here at home… but TV streaming… NOPE! It’s expensive ($55 USD converted from pesos) so I don’t want to buy it if it’s not going to work. I have a good Ethernet cable though it is very long, like 30’. My Starlink router and TV are only about 2’ apart. Will this Ethernet Adapter work in my situation? And.. is there another device that’s cheaper or should I stick with the Starlink adapter? I guess if it doesn’t work well, I can always return it. Thanks!

Hi can i keep using starlink model , use the other modem for just wired pc or other devices?

I ordered my starlink may 8th and got mine at my door today may 12. Ping is great and I’m just amazed. I live in rural Colorado and everything else is terrible. Hoping the Ethernet adapter which I’m also getting today makes an even bigger difference.

Really appreciate the way you get to the point...as a non-techie, what's the best way to get the most out of my Starlink? I am happy to get the SL ethernet adapter. And I would be using it in a small office about 100' from my home. How does that impact my home connection?

Ahh so the WiFi will still work... I read conflicting reports that it just bypassed it completely. I just want to hardwire one pc and have everything else on WiFi.

Did you have to stow the dish or power off the router before you connected the ethernet adapter? Didn't look like you did, but just wanted to check.
