not sure why or if i did something wrong but i got a few errors for the emboss on this not sure why i fixed it but had to change some of the sizes and filet
ОтветитьQuick question, when you used the offset face tool to close up the gap between the skirt body, and the main body, how did you know to bring it in .5mm? does it snap to position?
Thanks for all your videos they are very well done and easy to follow. I dove face first into this software and these videos are helping me make sense of all the features that I have been over looking and doing things the hard way.
I am unable to do the fillet on the top ridges: Error: There was a problem combining geometry together.
If attempting a Join/Cut/Intersect, try to ensure that the bodies have a clear overlap (problems can occur where faces and edges are nearly coincident).
I was not able to emboss the for profile sketch in to the top face. I could not select the top face only, only the entire body, and got only errors.
ОтветитьOne thing I have wondered...does it matter if you choose the YZ plane vs the XZ plane to start with?
Ответитьwhy did we add a 2 point circle right before emboss?
ОтветитьI am here to let you know that just one of these videos will do more to enlighten the 3d modeler than Autodesk's entire getting-started course. Thank you, my friend. I will gratefully pick up any information you so generously put down.
ОтветитьI added the name "HODOR" on top of the skirt :D
ОтветитьOh got it. You did NOT draw a vertical line from the origin point - just confused me that you started by snapping to the vertical axis - then moved right to do the angle...
ОтветитьCompleted the sketch for the doorstop, but issues:
1. When finishing the figure - clicking the origin point after drawing the horizontal line left to right - the constraing symbol for the lower right hand corner is not added - but it is for the lower left hand corner.
2. Added height, scale for the left hand side and angle. All lines now black - but still have pencil for the sketch - suggesting not fully constrained
Finally figured out that the first, vertical line was not constrained. How did you do that line - and then 'releasing' the top point to set the upper left corner of the figure. Also see your vertical line is blue and contains dashes - why ?
Great tutorial, I am moving out from Shrpd3D due to the extreme high cost and watching your tutorial videos are making an easy task for me Thank you;
ОтветитьI've seen it posted here a couple of times in the comments about at the 10 minute mark... I am on a MAC ,with Tangent Chain unchecked, even with holding option, I am unable to select more than one face... Is there a solution?
ОтветитьMy embossing is constantly coming out bent and wavy? I've tried to restart the entire embossing process and draw the two-point rectangle again, but the same issue occurs...
