I just bought a Vega 56 in December 2019. I know I made a good choice as an upgrade to the RX 580 I had. I will play at 2560x1080 and it will be very good.

1070 is still 500 bucks on new egg, they have a vega 56 for 250. GPU prices are still screwed up.

I just ordered vega 56 in europe for 248euros brand new. Gonna replace my rx 580 . Hope it will be good upgrade because there is no mid range upgrades now rx 5700 and XT is kinda too expensive for me .

Looking to finally upgrade my graphics card and since I can get Vega 56 for about 240€ (over 100€ cheaper than GTX1070), I'm thinking about switching back to team red, after a decade on team green. Any thoughts? I'm just looking for a card that will age well and use it for 1080p/1440p gaming.

I feel like right now the vega 56 makes a ton of sense. They can be had for $300usd and come with 2 games. With an undervolt/overclock they are within ~5% performance of the rtx 2070fe. Very worthwhile for a mid teir new build or a refresh of an older build that still has an effective cpu, mobo, ram configuration.

Update this video. Vega 56 is awesome now. Mining craze is over. Prices are good. Tune the card a bit for reducing noise and power. This is easily better deal than gtx 1070.

Well, somehow I found these price comparison videos "odd". Well, they worked at that time when published, but I try to search Vega 56 reviews and I found these price comparisons. Well, currently, in Finland (with 24% taxes etc), I could get RX580 8GB for 239 euros while getting Vega 56 pulse 8GB for 309 euros. Big difference in those prices at that time VS now.

I currently have a Radeon R9 200 seried with 2gb of ram and im looking to upgrade. I was looking at the rx580 maybe the vega 56. at newegg that 1070 is still 300$+ I know my pc is getting some age on it it has a A8 cpu until i can afford to build a new pc is the 580 a viable option?

I had 2 1070Ti Cards that I wasn't using. Sold them and bought a Sapphire Vega 56. Why?? I don't know. I guess I just wanted everything to match.

So everyone says that the vega 56 is overheating,but in my country the vega costs 295€ and the RTX 2060 costs 335€.So which is better to buy

I am interested how the dedicated AMD GPU is not utilized by Adobe, because AMD has a great support for OpenCL and has been in the heart of its development over the years. Anyway.. I guess it's an Adobe thing.. or marketing tricks who knows.

Please do a benchmark using a newer games after the card releases. Sure witcher 3 among a demanding game but it is already outdated. Why the manufacturer want to optimize old games while they can optimize for later games. Hope it make senses.
