Matt says he is scared. So he is thinking about it. Then he is making up, because you can think and be scared all day long but you cannot work the plan until you know the situation.

You can get into accessory mode on the push button start vehicles by just pushing the start button without pressing the brake in. Is sound go into accessory mode for 15 minutes or so then turn off.

Also Matt has to think a little about the job but obviously not make any decisions until he is there and sees the whole situation.

I think you do both, before& at the job.😊

I can think of another rescue that was steep and sketchy where the wrecker would have been handy. If I recall correctly, lizzy had to drive straight down a mountain.

You can an put it in accessory mode if you just don't press the brake and you push start.

Its not that i like to watch you struggle its that i like to watch you problem solve. And i feel like you make your plan when you get there. Theres just no knowing what the situation will be like no matter how well the customer describes it.

I think you try to formulate a plan while driving to the rescue but you really can't make a plan till you get there to assess the situation.

The Topaz mountains are Utah's version of BFE, better known as BFU.

If this was a Ford or Chevy it would have flipped long ago!!!!!! I love my 2021 Ram Power Wagon. The angle of attacks and edge handling are bar none. Suspension on Ram trucks is something else. Ahead of it's time! Seay bar release option! Front and rear lockers. Say no more, Sandard 12k lb Waren Wench.

You should never start a vehicle on an angle like that you will smoke the engine I blew an engine a couple years ago running the motor on an angle like this the oil injectors can't keep up

My guess is, that Matt runs potential scenarios through his head, based upon the information initially provided, heavily weighted by his confidence of the provided information. So in essence, based upon his confidence of the provided information, he most likely contemplates the potential efficacy of possible solutions, based upon his years of experience. If he has little to no confidence of the provided information, I would guess that he just formulates vague ideas of what the situation COULD be, based on his knowledge of the terrain and other factors.

i don't see why the owner couldn't have gotten someone with a jeep and a winch to get him out.
