I know it maybe a consider a waste of points but I always build up my weight some. It just makes it easier and you dont have to ditch stuff that you might need

u could just pve on and if u want to kill your babies u just turn on friendly fire and the drops wont take dmg from the gigas

CJ: gets 21 spike walls from the OSD.
me: don't drop those u will need them later on.
also CJ: drops them then builds them.

Disabling victim harvesting doesn't mean the dino wont run off to harvest the corpse it just means it wont collect the stuff dropped by the victim.

Just a few suggestions the best way I have done drops is ride a yutyrannus and have 6 argys following you on aggressive best to have them imprinted they shred the dinos makes for a easy drop.
And for the desert titan dimorphodons are the best to use as many as you can breed imprinted and fully leveled they clip into the titan and kill it within seconds cause the titan can't hit them you may lose a few but most will kill it pretty quickly. I use about 20 to 25 dimorphodons, I don't recommend using them on any other titan they will die to quickly but are the best for the desert titan.

Cj I found a 145 myself with 175 melee after tame...took 250 tranq darts from my 225 longneck. I had a similar oh shit moment. Only instead it was a scorpion. But I just wasn’t paying attention for SECONDS and the lil bastard snuck up on me. I was standing right on the giga like a doofus so I thought he got hit. My heart was shattered as I killed the scorpion....but wait...WOOO 100% effectiveness and bby girl hits for over 500 before any levels. Hell of a time for my first giga.

You should definitely do a cluster series so you can travel to other maps. Makes it alot more interesting

And just to say your attacks do not do damage to a drop or to the nodes!! If it did on official everything would be dead in no time cause my giga has 1700% melee damage and I just sit there and bite on it most of the time the enemy dino's are coming lol so don't worry about destroying the drop its not you hurting it!!

Bit late for this but my name suggestion for your giga: Gilgamesh or Gigamesh since gilgamesh is fate's strongest servant, its fitting that one of the strongest creatures in ark be named after him.

Finally at 24 minutes into the video you finally for the first time enabled turret mode on that one velo you kept saying was already on turret mode😁😁 so relieving. I thought you were just gonna leave it off turret mode and make life harder for yourself

Cj your velonosaur was not on turrets mode during the old drop when he was attacking. Didn't finish video yet so idk if you noticed

You should put the velos on aggressive then fill their inventory up with stone or something so they can’t move. It’s way better than turret mode and melee damage isnt limited like on turret mode either

When you sit on the dino, you cancel turret mode.

Anyone else remember when this was the way to get cryopods originally? Need a rep otherwise but now we can craft them in drops XD.

Giga's are too slow and clumsy to use as the solo tame for a drop, you're better off with a pack of Allosaurs or a few Yutis.... they can actually turn, and can kill things without damaging the drop more than the things you are fighting.

The desert titan was so much fun... I transferred in a bunch of wyverns then just sat back and watched. It looked like something out of an old monster movie. Epic

If you really want to harvest from the enforcers and tek dinos, you need to get a high quality chainsaw.

A level 100 or 200 enforcer with high melee can solo yellow supply drops just letting you know

You can turn on pve mode and you wont be able to destroy the drops or element veins when protecting them. I highly recommend it before you take on any red or purple drops

What map is this on?

Cj why don't you make a glide suit? So when your go down you don't take a ton of damage.

On gigas only level melee because the other stats dont het big upgrades per level either and u need the melee to kill titans

CJ, when you mount a dino thats on Turret Mode, its disables Turret Mode, you need to reset it.

You should at least level food and water once

When you ride the dino it goes out of turret mode trust me I know

I'm loving this series! Keep up the good work CJ !! Oh and PachyRhinos are OP and will definitely help you when taming your next Giga! The De-Aggro perk it has is amazing for taming and getting nastys away from your knocked out tames!!
