"A rare Fire without Scarlet, this version comes out of Space on the final night of the Dead's five+ weeks of shows at the Warfield and Radio City Music Hall, during which the Dead played three sets per night. This was included on the electric album from these shows, Dead Set." - David Lemieux
ОтветитьOh shucks. This version is edited. There's another good 30 seconds on the real version before they kick into Fire and it's super cool, the cymbal bell hit triggers the whole thing. Hoping some day a Warfield and RCMH complete set is released...it's was all recorded by the band. Or Arista at least from what I recall...
ОтветитьDating myself, but groovy! No apologies!
ОтветитьThis is sublime and the Grateful Dead have always been my favourite band since I heard Live Dead in 69 Thank You for all the years and thank you Jill Potten.
ОтветитьTune makes me want to quit my job and take up running. ☀️
Ответить⚡️❤️⚡️❤️🌟
ОтветитьHOW IN THE WORLD WAS I UNSUBSCRIBED FORM THIS CHANNEL?
ОтветитьOh my heart, be still. How the world needs them all back now.
ОтветитьNEVER HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME SINCE!
ОтветитьTest
ОтветитьThose kids in the audience probably thought at the beginning 3 minutes of this clip that they took too much and that... uh the onset is horror, and then confusion then you get it together and maintain. Lol. Party on Wayne
ОтветитьThe best Space they ever did, most of the time I don't really dig it but this was insane!!
ОтветитьI only saw the dead 4 times..silver stadium in Rochester ny and the junk Buffalo bills stadium 3 times..great band ..
ОтветитьSpace and drums. For those kissing the sky.peace and joy 😊 8888
ОтветитьAnd then all of a sudden there emerges the cognition coherence cohesiveness and expression of creativity!
ОтветитьThat intro made me think they were gonna start playing raining blood for a minute
ОтветитьProbably the Best 🔥 Fire O.T. Mtn. Recorded this from my dead set album onto cassette & played it as loud as shitty car stereo could crank. Smoking weed , singing along me & best friend driving around before going into senior year High School.
ОтветитьWorst thing I've ever heard

Ответитьmy favorite version ever ❤️💀⚡️🌹🐢🌻
ОтветитьI wish more people dug this like I do. Are there any modern jam bands with a heart of fire?
ОтветитьSome hippie gave me 4 hits free acid and I did the best skateboarding of my life. It was like flying off Ramps. Doing stuff I never done before. Like martial arts movies where they float ... yu look back like how did I do that
ОтветитьUnbelievable 😊
ОтветитьJerry ❤
ОтветитьBest version
ОтветитьThis song and estimated prophet got less interesting as the years rolled on. Prefer this version...
ОтветитьFor me this is one of the greatest grooves in music. Simplest chords imaginable: 2 major chords. Dead in its purest form.
ОтветитьSuch a self destructive personality. Jerry was his "Own Worst Enemy"
ОтветитьI missed the part where I wasn't not insane...redoodling...
ОтветитьAmazing fade in.. they were so tight and inspired by Brent
ОтветитьI was there
Ответитьthis video is great, it looks much newer than 1980
ОтветитьGreat version. Love the psychedelic-trippy intro. I frequently tripped during their shows. Saw them all over the midwest in the 80’s.
ОтветитьBest ever ever ☮️ if you are a dead head, there’s nothing better nothing ✌️☮️ and some reefer
Ответитьhot take=if you're not on 10 hits of acid the studio recording is better
ОтветитьNow that’s the Dead I fell in love with in early 90’s. Fuckin love Dead Set. I had those cassettes forever
Ответить8 min in I realized this has nothing to do with Transformers
ОтветитьSan Rafael Marin county San Francisco California yes I keep on keeping on 🍄🌉🍄🌍🍄🇺🇲🍄🔥🔥🔥🍄
