Instead of all that complicated bulky jazz, what if they just took a folding ruler and strapped it to the big toe and foot? Then, you could have a straightened bunion, bend your toe, and be able to wear shoes. How hard is it to add a pivot joint to a basic bunion splint?
Ответитьwhat works for me is: i walk barefoot as much as i can. all the time when i'm at home, i'm 100% barefoot. have been all my life. i never used high heels, only for weddings, rest of the time is only sneakers, sometimes combat boots, and now the kinda 'sock like shoes' (idk the name of them). my toes are not as spaced out as a child's are, but definitely far away from the bunched up thing most people suffer from.
Ответитьi have barely been wearing any shoes this summer, why haven't my feet gotten better if my shoes are the problem?
ОтветитьI actually use this for gout for temporary pain relief. It’s probably anecdotal but when I am feeling 8/10 pain, it’s worth it.
ОтветитьI had horrible plantar fasciitis and suffered through it for years. To the point it took me 15-20 minutes in the mornings to be able to bare any weight on my feet without extreme pain. Which, when you have to pee, seems like a millennium!
I found these sandals by Sketcher they are called "rastafari" or something close to that.
I wore them for the entire memorial day weekend each day my feet felt better. Not as sire and tender as they had been. By Tuesday morning I only needed a few minutes of stretching. So I wore them to work. Where the office manager told me it was against company dress code. I told her of my foot issues and why I was wearing them. She apologized but was set on holding me to company policy.
"Is this really the hill you are willing to die on? Because I'm willing."
And so it went that they ended up getting sued. I won but I was mad they made me go to that extreem.
The added bonus to the sandals. . . . My toes aren't all squished looking anymore.
I live in Alaska. Yet still the only time my feet are in enclosed footwear is when I go outside. Even then, most of my winter boots have roomy toes because tight shoes freeze feet.
Where dowey deh? Next gal yard queenie must be bun-proof😂😂
ОтветитьI hate narrow shoes!!! and there are so many narrow shoes/sneakers for men that when I find a good size shoe i sometimes buy two. can you recommend brands/ store that sells larger toe area?
ОтветитьI just purchased this product and waiting for it to be delivered 😒. I also purchased barefoot shoes, toe socks and toe toe spacers.
ОтветитьSo where are women going to find these giant toe box shoes? Women’s shoes all look narrow to me.
ОтветитьI’ve been working on correcting my great toe valgus the past year. It’s definitely gonna take time trying to correct about 6 years of wearing the wrong shoes.
ОтветитьAccording to the orthopedic surgeon my sons bunions are caused by a bone being to long and it is genetic. He would require surgery to correct the problem. I know more than one person who has also had surgery to correct their bunions caused by the same deformity. So it is not all caused by shoes.
ОтветитьI somewhat disagree with this take. My dad and I both have bunions and tailors. We're south east asian and wear flip flops our entire lives. Definitely not a factor of environment in our case.
ОтветитьMy grandma was a womens size 11. And she always wore a womens size 9/10. Her middle toe... sat on top of all of her other toes because wide shoes were too expensive and womens size 11 are still very hard to find. Im a womens 13. I wear mens shoes, instead. Most womens shoes arent designed for healthy feet, anyway. A womens 13 is a mens 10.5 and your arches and toes will eventually spread out again if you do it soon enough and stop wearing shoes that hurt your feet.
ОтветитьI recently started rock climbing and those shoes are MEANT to give you a .0001 sqr inch center of mass by compressing ur feet like a Chinese princess. Will this have any lasting impact if I wear these roughly 2 hours a day for 2-3 days a week?
ОтветитьBitches will wear shoes shaped like this 📐 then say it's completely genetic
ОтветитьI just wish there were more non-narrow shoes that didn't look like running shoes
Ответитьhow do I fix my toe that healed crooked
ОтветитьTell converse and Jordan's to make wider shoes then. My feet just gon have to be fucked up
ОтветитьWhat toe spacing device do you recommend in your videos? Link? Thanks
ОтветитьSo I have bunions and 2 conjoined toes on each foot what do
ОтветитьI have the issue where the correct size of shoe is too narrow for my foot...so I have to go a size higher to have enough room for my toes but I end up having too much room in the heel...
ОтветитьYeah no if this were the case then my whole family would have bunions because we all wear “narrow” shoes but out of all the family only my grandma has bunions
Ответитьi have thiiiiisssssss and its so paaaaiinnnffuuuullll i want to pull my toes so bad 😭😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьI usually like your videos, but you are absolutely wrong on this. Bunions have a genetic component, and I have seen siblings who are barefoot most of the day and wear similar shoes when they go out, where one has bunions and the other doesn't. And literally if you do a simple Google search you will see that there is a hereditary component.
ОтветитьWell, glad I wear sandals all the time lol
ОтветитьGlad to know it's not genetic and that I just need different shoes!
Do you have any tips/suggestions for trying out barefoot shoes (like xero shoes)?
Sorry, have to disagree about it not being genetic. I would born with bunions. Literally had bunion surgery on one foot in 8th grade. I wasn’t wearing narrow shoes up to that point in my life and was lucky if you could find me wearing shoes at all! I also don’t agree with this strategy, still hardly wear shoes and only wear wide box tennis shoes or open toe sandals to this day. The bunion doesn’t effect my life since I don’t irritate it, so I don’t have intentions on getting surgery on the left foot.
ОтветитьI have narrow feet, i joke i have rabbit feet bc theyre long too. I learned that you can find shoes in wide to narrow as well as the size you usually see. For me my most comfortable brand is converse bc they fit narrow but have toe room that works for my foot.
Many of people love crocs and theyre probably great house shoes bc theyre a wide fitting shoe. I think more people are wides than they realize. I think theres ways to find which brands provide wide versions of their shoes or produce shoes that are a wide fit. I'd say before diving into barefoot shoes or anything start with wides!
Edited for typos
I like my toes spread apart and FREE.
ОтветитьWhy she breath like that tho 😅
ОтветитьMe who wears crocs exclusively and fuzzy crocs in the winter😎
ОтветитьI don't really get this problem, it should only really happen if you wear your shoes at home, which you just really shouldn't do. Literally everyone i know has normal feet.
ОтветитьNo idiot, genetics can make you more likely to have it
ОтветитьIf its not genetic (ever) then how would you explain the bunions I had from birth?
My dad had one bunion and my mum bad two while my sister had none.
My parents tried really hard in my early years with footwear and exercises but nothing changed.
Blanket statements like this just show off your lack of knowledge and make me question everything else to claim to be an expert on…🤔
Ok but why then do I have a bunion deformity on one foot but not the other? I’m always wearing the same shoes on both feet…
ОтветитьI really want to believe that it is not genetic I have bunions on both of my feet, but my dad has one foot with a bunion and the other without. And I can't make sense of it.
ОтветитьWhere are the barefoot/wide toe box steel toe work boots?🙄
ОтветитьI take off my shoes as soon as I get home. I wear an extra wide shoe or a boxed shoe so there's room at the front of the foot where the toes are. I think we was guys may have an easier time of this. Tell him to several women, there is a belief that they need to have the smallest feet possible because somehow men find that attractive so they buy shoes that are too small for them in the first place and then they wear high heels which just crams their toes into the very small pointy shoe. And they also tell me the recently-appointed shoe is that they can get them smaller shoe because they feel the toes can be smashed together but then they get bunions. Anyway, they don't listen to me. I'm just their boss. Lol
ОтветитьAnyone have recommendations for non slip steel toe barefoot work boots for women?
ОтветитьDoes toe shape affect pressure and weight distribution?
ОтветитьGenetics absolutely can contribute to having bunions. Just like having light skin makes it easier to get a sunburn.
ОтветитьI'm barefoot everyday for 6 years already. Maybe I'll wear shoes for 30 min when I'm going somewhere. But my toes are still very narrow. Can it really not be natural?
Ответить@squatuniversity can you do a video about what shoes you recommend? I was looking then up but don't know where to start.
ОтветитьWear wider shoes!! You won’t have any more bunions!
ОтветитьYour foot has been like that for years and all of a sudden you think your bones are jelly and can reform like magic?
ОтветитьYes it's very true that our feet changes according to the shape of our shoes. In the olden days of China, it was a trend for people to "绑小脚" where they wore extremely small shoes and made their feet the way the shoe is. Go and Google
ОтветитьWhat about hammertoes?
How do you correct them?
Is there such thing as hitchhiker's thumb for your toes? 😅
My last section of toe(past the last knuckle) on my big toe is crooked towards my 'index' toe, but the first knuckle bone isnt.. whats up with thatm
So, what shoe brands do you recommend to wear with correct-toes?
Ответить
