Not sure I buy the “there are a lot of people who own a Tesla that don’t know about this (FSD)” comment. Seems pretty dismissive and a bit arrogant towards the broader Tesla community. I don’t know a single fellow owner who hasn’t at least tried FSD.

I am totally fascinated with FSD and would love to have that option on my model Y, but I think the cost may be too high. Tesla FSD fanboys are becoming very similar to vegans. They want everyone to live their lifestyle and that would require government force to make it so people can’t own their own cars in the future. That’s the cost I’m referring to. I don’t want to take away my children and grand children’s freedom of being able to jump in their own car and go where they want to go when they want to regardless of their social credit score.

Nice explanation of why lidar is not necessary, its all about to understand the obstacles and how the will act into the near future. And cool that Gali from Hyperchange went along on the trip today. Has Omar considered working for Tesla's Autopilot department ? I mean he has a deep experience on the User experience side... I would love to contribute to this technology as it can be applied outside of the realm of regular passenger vehicules. So when are sending your resume Omar ?
