Perhaps teach on the free Canon Professional Digital program that a Canon owner can download from Canon. Very good stuff for the price. Lol. Also consider Affinity Photo and Luminar, as opposed to Lightroom. Beginners might want a monthly subscription expense.

Still trying to figure out how to shoot videos at Tv and Av mode and control the shutter speed and F Points. I guess canon does not allow you to do that?

Thanks for a great video, very helpful in learning to use my 90D. Just a comment about depth-of-field, Canon says you have to press the depth-of-field preview button (below the lens on the side where the shutter is) if you want to see how the picture will come out at the F-stop selected. I think they do this because it's helpful to compose the shot with the lens wide open (otherwise the view will be dark), and it only applies the F-stop when you actually take the picture. Thanks again for the expertise and clear explanations!

My first SLR was an Olympus with AV priority only. You loaded the film with a fixed ISO based on when and where you were shooting. You then manually focused and manually adjusted the aperture to set the speed for the shot. Great way to shoot. My favorite thing with DSLR's is the ability to adjust ISO on a shot to shot basis.

HI im gonna try to talk in english properly because im french from quebec but i just bought yesterday a 90D before thats i have the dinosaur 60D really good for starting but now i bought this almost of all photo i make is car , standing car or i love make RollingShot i bought with the 90D the CANON EF 24-105MM F/4L IS II USM (before thats i use a 18-55mm come from the 60D) almost photographer say to me is a perfect lens because for his versatility i want to know what do you think a bout this lens ? and the second question i stop it use the P TV and Av for use always Manuel but the thing i struggeling is when i make a shoot of a car his not moving i want the car in focus and blurring in the back but im not able to do that with the 18-55mm so with the 24-105MM F/4L IS II USM do you think im gonna be good with this ? its hard because im learning alone with ur video but something i dreamin have a good friend help me out ! thanks in advance

Been shooting with my 90D for a year now. But now trying to learn other settings besides auto. Wow! Very good explanation of the use of the 90D. Just bought a 150-600 tamron g2 lens to play with too. Will watch a few times for it to sink in!

Why spend £1300 on a camera like the 90d ,if you are not going to be using what you are paying for ,which is the sophisticated auto features .If you are just going to be using the manual controls you’d be better off buying a Canon 100d for around £200.

Very confusing how o get in p mode how to adjust to shudder speed .
