Eva, I really appreciate your videos (especially the university rants about your assignments and what not) bc I felt like I could relate more than going out and being super social (although that’s fun to watch too) but I’m an introvert so I’ve enjoyed the change of pace! I know it’s easier said than done, but don’t put so much pressure on yourself bc your videos are masterpieces!

you’re never going to please everyone, it’s really unfair to set that goal for yourself. you’re doing great, it’s okay to want to improve yourself but i hope you do it on your own terms and not others’. there are so many people who like and admire you and i am one of them. your videos have brought me comfort and inspiration ever since i found you back during lockdown. i find it hard to watch just anyone because i like watching people who feel real and you are one of the very few who do so. you’re genuine and authentic and i love that. so many times i’ve heard you verbalize things i’d thought and struggled with before and that made me feel so validated. please don’t ever doubt yourself or your craft.

Eva, I’ve been watching you for literal YEARS. I believe I have credibility when I say that you are such an amazing person. I’ve never gotten bored of you. I have grown up with you and seen your different styles, but the one thing that remains the same is who you are at your core. You are kind, sensitive, adventurous, insightful, smart, savvy, cultured, and beautiful inside and out. Not to mention, your whole style?! It takes SKILL to do what you do. You’ve really shown me how to be a strong, confident woman these past couple of years and you continue doing so. I started journaling (I have had 3 now), wearing clothes that make me feel good about myself (made it a mission to find my sense of style & you are my style inspo! I love your elegant outfits), accessorizing, reading, trying foods I’ve never had before, traveling, making new friends, spending time with family, appreciating the little things … all because of you. It truly takes a commendable person to spark such life and vigor into others. You’ve made me a better person. I don’t know who I’d be without you and your videos. I almost never comment on videos but I've watched your vlogs for a few years and your videos are always interesting and give a great sense of what you're trying to portray. I also think you're extremely hard on yourself (which is natural for conscientious over-achievers) but you're SO young and you don't need to have everything be perfect and always be in the right mood or always feel good about yourself. I am almost 28 and when I think back to how I was at your age, I was very much questioning everything and feeling unworthy, confused, unsure etc., Please know those feelings do mostly go away and you start to really learn to understand yourself and how you interact with the world in this next phase of life. Just try to enjoy yourself and not let overly conscious thoughts get in the way :) x

I I watch your videos along with my college-age daughters, and I never post comments, but here it goes: You post the best content when you are at your strongest, healthiest, most curious and confident and comfortable in your own head and skin, including when you sometimes share that you are anxious. Don't fear your viewers are judgmental. Ignore those who might be. Just take care of yourself and great content will follow.

As someone from Montreal who went to school in Toronto, your videos both make me feel so at home and also push me to appreciate the beauty in where I am living! The mix of mellow and busy is so reflective of my life back when I went to McGill, watching is always so wonderfully nostalgic x I can sympathize with the pressure of creating dynamic content, but genuinely finding beauty in the smallest things (whether it's your shots of leaves, clothing, food or book reviews), and slowing the pace of our crazy content-driven lives is such a valuable thing!
