But controllers are where it's at, & Pioneer does make some of the best of those & Rekordbox is a very good dj app. I do like it for it. So much easier to record your mix & have all your levels of a mix series the same. No faffing about.
The Pioneer RX3 is an awesome little machine & probably better value if your only going 2 decks anyway.
I own the SC5000s for new hardware but Pioneer controllers.
0.002% resolution is disappointing in this generation for a £5K a pair players. The Denons give you that option if wish to go backwards. 😂
I don't like the pumping l.e.d meters on the Denon mixers though this time around. Prefer them still.

The pioneer looks absolutely amazing I would be happy satisfied with it but the denon to me it looks so much better and more professional I don't know why others label it as a bedroom dj set.

What is going on with the Pioneer setup from 25 seconds? The DJ is cutting the crossfader to the left with music still playing but the left deck is clearly not playing anything? Is this faking or is the Pioneer Mixer getting a feed from the Denon setup which clearly has both tracks playing all the time?

Denon setup to me sounds slightly woolier in the bass, splashier, crunchier, and more compressed in the highs, and less revealing in the mids, but it's hard to tell how much of that is the mixer and how much of that are the players. Curious if you had the Denon mixer set to 96khz to match the players' SPDIF. Not even sure if you're connecting digitally. To my eyes it looks like you have the Denons connected analog and the Pioneer connected digitally. My ears are also not what they used to be. I wonder how the CDJ-3000s measure... and if club-footed midgets get justice in heaven.

Pioneer = apple 🍎 / denon = Samsung not the same strategy ' when Pioneer want to do it well in djs in some point 👍 give you the best - from there unit - denon say give me 20 point to see - maybe in some cases we are not the best ' but we are doing best enough in 20 ways - for the club i take Pioneer - the screen brighter the buttons all the feel & design & fx more professional , for the gig itake denon - more functionality- chip from Pioneer a lot , you can do anything usb - ssd - sd - you can take Pioneer mixer if you want we don't care enjoy- so is not the same way if you want only to do dj stuff take Pioneer all day long with your iphone , if you want to learn some new stuff, take denon with your galaxy .

-Rekordbox 6 sucks and needs subscription
-worse pitch slider quality and resolution (0.02 vs 0.01)
-worse resistance against water/liquids (no sealed PCBs)
-far worse user community and forum ('Pulse' is a joke)
-cost $1k more than SC6000 and $1500 than SC5000

So many years spent with Pioneer.
Too bad, but Pioneer has aged faster than me. Congratulations on the success of the SC6000.

One big mess, sorry guys some people without expensive toys can do better, anyway my opinion denon sc6000 is great, pioneer lost his way completely, new feature is brighter screen when denon has practically everything you need

Received my SC6000’s yesterday and having own the previous CDJ2000NXS I have to say it’s a brilliant player. Denon have really pulled out all the stops here and everything is perfect so far. Would I swap it for a Pioneer Deck. No. But the pioneer CDJ3000 is still a wonder machine.

Pioneer feels cheap compared to denon. Before you argue, try tapping the side of the jogwheel with your fingernails. It feels like a cheap knockoff chinese toy.....for that price!

These comments are hilarious! Get what YOU WANT and can afford PERIOD. There is no winner or loser in the eyes of true DJ. Learn to use whatever is in front of you. Half of the "fanboys" can't even use most of these innovations properly anyway so stop whining about nothing and just practice. End result should be the music FIRST anyway so just get the job done. The good new is : you can do the same with the cheapest Pioneer dj controller (if you know how to do it ;-) )

So, you can do the same things on both players but Denon is almost a half price cheaper and still can do more than Pioneer.

Sc6000 is more for the Live Remixers ! If you tap that Fast on a Pioneer it’s going to be a Mis on button or hit on Jogwheel. pioneer is just Quality for high price but still behind the sc6000 in my opinion!

Funny stuff, all "3000" demos are playing with just introduced cue buttons, which are on controllers for "century" and newly with pitch play, again on Serato for years!

Clearly the hot cue buttons position on the cdjs are a big mistake

Bottom line is you can do the same with both units based on skill. Denon advantage, much more affordable and internal SSD option. Pione will not be able to ass future updates to include SSD or Wifi.

first I bought the denon sc 6000 set. but the software prime is for me horrible, so the set goes back. than I bought the pioneer cdj 3000 set...and I love it. rekordbox is wonderful and the second wave curve in the display of the cdj 3000 ist a killer fitue, the sound a dream... its very fuc+ expensive .. its bad ... but I have the money for this shit .... so its okay...

I prefer cues' position in Pioneer. When you have the two units in front, I think is a best position and Pioneer's jog is perfect ☺
