I think this is my favorite song of all time. Touches me in a certain way that no other song has.
Ответитьluv this song.....
ОтветитьHate this song says the guy who sings it.....just makes me love it more❤
ОтветитьAbsolutely my favorite lyrics from a song.
ОтветитьThank YOU thys is the BETTERER Version I remember thanks to You!!
ОтветитьI had both storietellers & unplugged on cd, both gone. Counting Crows were the first band I discovered on my own, no outside influences & they are the soundtrack to my life
Ответить☮️
ОтветитьMy friend died recently after being hit by a car suddenly, I was one of the last to speak to him, to soothe him.
He was an incredible and kind soul who learned from his mistakes and did right by the people he loved. He sent me this song a while back and I kind of glazed over it.
It was one of 3 songs he ever shared with me. I gave it a good listen after learning he had passed. I have never screamed so loudly, with such pain and anger. You have no idea how much I miss you.
I love you Patty Wagon. Thank you for teaching me everything you know. I tried to call you with good news today but I guess your phone is already disconnected.
Thank you for the beautiful sunrises and sunsets since you passed. Say hi to my granny for me. 💖
I think this song is alot more of a commentary one the human condition than he is letting on. "Sleepin children better run like the wind...out of the lighting dream" Lighting represents Lucifer in the occult. Look into it sometime.
ОтветитьWhy can't we find an audio/video of this that's not warped?!?!
I really want to share this to as many as I can, but this warped one can only be really appreciated by those who are already fans.
I prefer the Howard Stern Show version.
ОтветитьAmazing ♥️
ОтветитьAugust and Everything After is a masterpiece
ОтветитьAnyone know where I can find the actual CD of this?
ОтветитьThere was a time in my life when I bled for this song, and it wasn't for what I was going through but for what I missed
ОтветитьWould you catch me if I was falling, would you kiss me if I were leaving, would you hold me cause I'm lonely for you?
Powerful lyrics that were not in the studio release.
The band needs to stop Adam from talking. Always.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if the full episode is floating around anywhere? I'd love to see him talk about other songs.
ОтветитьI love the VHS distortions on the sound. It somehow makes it better...
ОтветитьI swear adam reminds me of collin Farrell
Ответить🙏
ОтветитьWow, so worth the poor video quality. Remarkable.
ОтветитьI Love this flashback to when music was Great, Extraordinary! Adam is Legend!!!!!! I really like the quality of it because it gives it a "Nostalgic" feel to the whole thing. It was all... Beautiful. There's just something Extremely Special about Adam and how he writes, sings, and expresses himself. It reaches your soul and yet feels like you get to see into his soul as well.
Thank you, Francesco Lissoni, Thank you for posting this!
If anyone has this whole thing please post it. I haven’t seen it in full in 20 years.
ОтветитьHere in 2020
ОтветитьEpic
Ответить2020
ОтветитьEveryone here should definitely check out Dustin Kensrue’s cover of this song. Amazing
ОтветитьOh hell yes boys!. You guys are always my go to.... Since early 90s... freaking 46 and listened to this over and over again in every stage of life. My kids have seen you 3 tines and we are in rural midwest. You blessed people have impacted me at every age and I am beyond grateful. You have always made me feel right at home my friends.
Blessings to all of you and to the bass player on this one especially.. ♡
I love this song. Many ways can relate to it
ОтветитьWhere is the rest?
Ответитьblast from the past.
ОтветитьStill great in 2019
ОтветитьStorytellers needs to be brought back. It doesn’t get more intimate than this
Ответитьgrait song. in VHS format. thanks for uplodad this vídeo.
ОтветитьNo one writes songs like Adam does-a true poet 👌🏽🙏🏽
ОтветитьDear Millennials,
The worble sound you're hearing is a streched out, worn out, over used, low quality VHS recording.
CD? No.
MP3? No.
Audio tape.
For those who say that this is the best version, please listen the version of the concert “Live at Elyseé, Paris, 1994”, it’s a fantastic 12 minutes version
ОтветитьI love this song so much.
ОтветитьFREAKING WOW!!! MY FAVORITE VERSION of Round Here BY FAR!!! Adam, love the way he always puts his feelings in each song he sings..
ОтветитьWhy is there not music like this anymore???
So sad what mainstream has done to unique sounds and voices...
he Counting Crows version (by far the more well-known recording) is a slow and mellow, if emotional, folk rock song. The original by the Himalayans is done in a more "pure" rock style—somewhat harder and faster, with prominent electric guitar and bass parts. In a tradition that has manifested in several Counting Crows ... The original is way better.
ОтветитьHow far we've come in such a positive way. Wow, in the 90s mental illness issues were still taboo. Adam even says things along the lines of 'selling all these records, touring, poor schmuck'! Although I suffer myself I used to think hey Adam, you're from California where the sun always shines! But depression doesn't care if it's sunny or pissing down. These lyrics are stuff of legend and learning
ОтветитьAdam, your lyric always touches my heart. I love your art, your open heart, and the self transparency.
ОтветитьAbsolutely love this song, check out my version on my channel, I rock it, accompanied w/ my 4 yr old daughter!!
ОтветитьOh man i got shivers..
ОтветитьAdmit it, at some point of your life this was SO much a song about you.
At least I sometimes feel like it was written just for me...
listening the meaning of this song from adam duritz really makes a great song greater , a preatty song .
