The story yeah but I feel third person cutscenes woulda have been good, hope they add that option in the future like gta added first person

Played this game on XBOX ONE Base when it came out, it was not playable. I don't know how you clocked 100 hours. I moved to PC, as I recently got a new rig. Day and Night experience between the two. It's like I am playing a different game on PC. After clocking a few hours and seeing the graphics on PC, this is definitely a Nex Gen title. I don't know why they were not honest about it from the beginning.

9 years in development, very disappointed.

To put it bluntly the game currently is not worth 60 dollars. All the false advertising makes this very clear. Additionally it was a game that was not ready to be launched so why pay full price. Would you pay full price for a laptop with half the keys missing?

It is playable now, that's enough for me because this is a great game, despite the bugs. Bugs can be fixed. A shitty game can't. There is a lot of crap games out there with less bugs. Feel free to enjoy it.
For those who want next gen graphics, buy a next gen console. Don't expect your 7 years old machine perform like a flagship beast. Duh.

Unplayable on ps4

Playing on xbox one no bugs so far. Frame rates are a little poor. But for me was definitely worth it. the story is very good.

Ray tracing is a huge deal. It makes the game look fucking amazing. Real time reflections may seem like a gimmick, but after this game, it’s not. The super accurate shadows also made it clear my character was bald most of the time. 1.06 has actually messed up RTX shadows especially in the badlands so it makes the game look awful with the shadows literally blinking as well as the reflections on the plants are blinking. However, playing on 5120 x 1440 ultra wide on RTX psycho is a really cool experience but unless your running a hefty graphics card like mine, your frame rates gonna suffer. I’m getting a constant 60 which is a plus.

This game is worth waiting for fix and next gen upgrade. Really, i played it on pc with all features high rez and... also the bugs :D. The ray tracings make night city more immersive and guys play it with tuned HDR ! You will see more details on neon lights for example.

Solid review. You hit every note on my own thoughts about it. The story is great and the voice acting is genuinely emotional. The mission variety is brilliant, the freedom to approach things however you want is a huge improvement over the likes of Rockstar's games. I also felt exactly the same about the driving; The cars and bikes are so cool but it's horrible to drive them. I am playing on PS4 Pro so the performance issues are less pronounced but I still get crashes and some of the bugs are clearly code, not performance, related.

For me the biggest disappointment in terms of bugs is stuff that undermines the good design. A few times I've had someone who can suddenly see you through a wall. I've meticulously planned and executed a stealth run through a mission using hacks and take-downs and silenced weapons, only for a guard's vision warning to suddenly start filling up through a 2 foot concrete wall, and now the alarm is raised and my whole run is blown. It makes you less inclined to bother with stealth at all and to instead just dump your upgrades into health and guns so you can Rambo your way through everything.
I like that you have the option to play that way but I like the stealth mechanics and I want to use them.

My game crashes on the new update on the PS4

Almost traded the game. But I gave it a shot with the latest fix, and I can say, I'm glad I didn't. I adore the game and the bugs aren't really a big deal since most games I played before usually are pretty buggy (Skyrim, GTA, Witcher). We can live with that. Playing on a PS4 Pro, btw.

Do you guys think it's worth buying on a Xbox One S? since release i have been doubting myself to buy it or not since FPS suck, and resolution ain't that good either so idk what to do...

I'm on the Xbox One S. I 100% the game. All endings done. This game is hella fun. Never played a game so much. I look forward to seeing more from CDPR.

I keep hearing people complain about how the game is unplayable on last-gen and, in my experience on an original base Xbox One from the day they were released, the story is phenomenal and the mechanics are okay. I’ve ran into one single game-breaking glitch but I just reloaded a recent auto-save (which happens frequently) and got right back into it. The only thing I noticed that is downright terrible is the hand-to-hand combat like the Beat The Brat quest line, which I still have yet to complete just because of how frustratingly delayed and laggy the combat felt. From what I’ve seen the streets are also empty on last-gen compared to the newer consoles but honestly it’s not something I notice often when playing, there’s enough going on that it isn’t noticeably bare.

I played about 15 hours on the Xbox One X initially, and I got a Series X for Christmas and started it over and I’ll say, the driving is MUCH better when you’re at 60 FPS for sure

Story is great love how the side quests really enhanced the overall experience. Gun play and exploration is almost on par with the story.

I got it for Christmas on Xbox one S and went in expecting it to be unplayable based on what I’d heard. Only had 2 crashes in like 15 hours so far and I’m absolutely loving it. Make your own decisions people don’t just believe what the crowds are saying about it. If I did I wouldn’t have picked it up and I’m so glad I did.

The gigs are the worst part. they are so repetitive... They are just glorified fetch quests...

I'm on a base Xbox One and the game works fine for me. Only complaint is I wish the devs made the graphics look more cleaner as we just saw with the amazing graphics of RDR2 but it isn't bad at all. You get the occasional funny bug but it doesn't hurt. I feel like the outrage is more directed at the fact they had all this time to really polish but I hope with the content releases and updates in tbe future, they can truly refine it to their liking.
