You have to open your stats page to see if you killed someone unless it’s very close range where you actually see the soldier die

Artillery explosions are so realistic. Best I have seen in any game without being scripted

The explosion and particle effects look so good! The overall graphics aren't really cutting edge but the lighting and ambiance is killer. The snow map really reminded me of Band of brothers and the Bastogne episodes.. killer show btw you should watch

HLL and 2042 are my favorite shooters Rn

Last night i felt like the god of war, charging the lines and shredding the enemy!

This morning i spawned in, took 3 steps forward and got domed, respawned at a different post just to have the same thing happen.

Ultimately DO NOT PLAY this game if you cannot deal with the much slower pace and lack of luxury features that come with other FPS games.

I’m level 28 now and I absolutely love this game! I play every day being by a rifleman and it’s such a blast!

Weird. All the comments on steam say the devs screwed up the game and that it has a toxic community.

HLL is one of the few multiplayer FPS games that has repeatedly drawn me back over the course of a two or so years. It’s got a great blend of “realism” and Arcady mechanics, which allows you to enjoy high tension gunfights without 2/3s of your time played being spent on a highly realistic 30 minute commute back to the frontlines.

I’ve now got around 150 hours in the game, which is mostly thanks to how much the squad mechanics encourage social play (tho a microphone is strongly recommended).

It’s also great because there’s no annoying ass battle pass that requires you to “keep pace” with constant updates. For someone with other obligations and responsibilities, I thanks the HLL devs for respecting my time. It doesn’t matter how much time you take off, you can always just hop back in and have a great time.

I'm only interested in playing sniper in these types of games!... Can I play sniper at any time from the get-go or do I have to grind to play in sniper mode?

I think squad44 (post scriptum) is a better ww2 game. Grpahic wise HLL is superior, but thats basicly it...

Absolutely love HLL, I play on PS5 and when you find a squad who's talking and plays together its one of the best experiences in gaming, If you are new please use a mic and maybe do what i did when i started, watch some videos to learn the basics of the game. It helped me a lot when starting out.

This game is amazing! When you have good squad leads and a good commander who set up garrisons you dont have to run so far to the objective. Unfortunatly there are aloy of players without a mic, maybe they are just shy.

HLL is broken beyond belief. The LOD issues are shocking and there’s many of the fundamental mechanics, like setting up the MG, that just simply do not work as intended.
The LOD issues are by the worst issue, on your screen you’re in cover behind bushes or tall grass, but if the enemy is 200m+ away, which they usually are, they won’t see any of the cover as it’s not loading in for them. It’s game breaking.
HLL will stagnate until someone takes this concept and makes a decent game.
Post Scriptum/Squad 44 is a more polished game, with better maps too. If someone made a mix of these games on Unreal Engine 5, both of these games would become redundant.

Too much attention to this game recently, I’m the one of the only high ranks on these servers as of late and nobody knows wtf they are doing. Nobody’s placing OP’s commanders are not placing garrisons. It’s wack

As recon id recommend harassing their artillery, really helps the team plus doesn’t hurt if you help command build garrisons.

This is my go to MP game. On PS5 as well. Only played BF but switched to this after a year of the bf2042 launch. Give yourself a couple of games to understand this game.
