What's about you? Do you make any preparations? How did you know you were ready to move out and live alone?

In my previous video about living alone, there was this comment about how being alone and being lonely are 2 entirely different things. I found that very true. What I shared here was what I did before moving out, to make sure I can live alone without feeling too lonely.

Start living alone in a hotel room on weekends u will adapt for weekdays on a lone flat

I don't live alone, yet loneliness is still a big part of my life. Won't be that much different once I move out

well as a teen who live alone its true i often feel lonely but then i am freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i can sing out loud and i can sleep for as long as i want andddddddd i can do workout whenever i want without being judged so its best well i do miss mummy and papa and thats when i decide to head home

I went to uni in another town while I was still recovering from depression and was just turning 18, in short it really did not end well and I fell head on back to depression even though I love some alone time and I did make really good friends there that we still talk to this day and some of them are some of my best friends I could not take it.
Long story short I could not take it and left after some months

I used to live alone during pandemic, it was a life changing experience. Since then, i've moved back with my family but I miss living alone. Yes, there're lonely moments but it helps to push me out of my comfort zone. I miss living alone and trying to save up to move out.

I have been asocial since my childhood after i started playing video games.
While i was in school hostel, i always thought i am ready to live alone with myself as i am already living without parents and i dont really mix up with my roommates...

Turns out, i was wrong... after getting into college, i was alone for a week. The anxiety built up while hearing others chitchatting in another rooms while i stay alone in mine.

3 days went by, and I found how 'lonely' i have been throughout my life.

I didnt realise that till then because my friends and regular calls from home never let me feel lonely.

But as i realised how hard it is to live a happy alone life, I appreciate each and EVERYONE out there who are finding happiness in living alone. It's not easy at all... you have to invest time in things that arent usual, or you'll get boored of the daily schedule and feel anxious.

I wonder if there is a follow-up of when you're ready to live together again.

If you get a pet living alone it will be there by itself all day. Its going to be like the Secret Life of Pets poster where its staring at the door all day. Thats not good.

Moving out is hands down the biggest step to turning adult, way more than turning 18 or sth like that.

So true.. I dream of living alone when I grow up, and I’ve been wondering a lot lately If I’d really be able to take care of everything that needs to be taken care of. Living alone is definitely a lot to handle and takes effort, but I think it’s worth it.
