How to reset Unifi Access Points to factory default | English Version

Is there anything can I do if it won’t connect via PuTTY to login? I did a hard reset on a standalone AP that the mobile app would no longer let me configure properly after renaming the SSID. Now the mobile app fails to connect to adopt. So now I’m trying by self hosting the network controller with no success. I feel like I jacked it up so bad that I might have to buy a new AP.

i'm stuck after I enter the command the cleaning phase not show up. please help

i have configured AP using mobile, can we factory reset following the step shown in this video?

This didnt change anything for me but i was able to factory reset through SSH and i was able to discover/adopt the AP.

Hi Everyone Im having a problem that my AP keep's disconnecting from my network and I have no idea why. Considering all the cloud key, POE switch, USG and other three AP's don't have an issue. 

Any help would be appreciated !!

still showing disconnected after reset?

How do I find the IP of the AP? On the controller, it is only showing some random number/letters.

I did the paper-clip reset, but the AP gets stuck on ADOPTING. SSH'd into the device, and performed restore-default command, but nothing happens after Clearing CFG %100


Any ideas?

But in my case i need to ssh the update too
the problem is i unconnect the antena from the network and plug back 1years later
Dont like unifi
Remember this is not a device you buy for home is entreprise stuff

Using putty default password 12345 didn't work for me access denied

If we RESET the UniFi it's gonna be in DEFAULT state. Then the DEFAULT PASSWORD is (login: ubnt, password: ubnt)

What is the access password?

struggle city with that reset button at the start, put some fur around it and you may have gotten it in quicker.
