Bureaucracy is an illusion…a dance of pretence.
In the world of power, control and money
arrows do not fly straight…
it is a game
like a Babushka doll…
the man inside the man,
inside the man…

It is intriguing that a billionaire (who WOULD have had armed protection) with diplomatic figurehead connections, some godlike, could leave behind a mystery that suggests he had no security…
But is it genuinely puzzling that a billionaire playboy diplomat, and spy apparent, fell from an upmarket London flat and British intelligence knew nothing?…and that neither Israel nor Egypt breathe a story worthy of belief, take ownership and broadcast the truth?
There is more behind this story…
Israel may have fed his ambition but it defies logic to wholeheartedly believe or trust in an informant, especially one with opposing political influence and involvement.
Cui bono? (who benefits?)…his wife, Mona, his children,…a mistress?
He who plays with fire is expendable.
Mystery hides the truth.

Ashraf Marwan didn’t mislead Israel.Sadat didn’t want to have a prolonged and costly war where valuable lives would be lost with no benefits to both sides. From the onset,Sadat wanted to bring the world’s attention to the Sinai…In fact Kissinger famously said to the effect before the Yom Kippur war that if Sadat had a problem then there was nothing he could do to help but if Sadat had a crisis on his hands, then he could assist. This thinking pushed Sadat to ignite the Yom Kippur War.If fact Al shazli,Egyptian chief of staff, has said on record that they drew up two Battle plans-one showing clearly limited incursion into the Sinai to basically prompt the west to compel Israel to come to the negotiating table to barter land for peace and the second plan which was shared with the Syrians, was to give the Syrians the false impression that they intended to go all the way to destroy Israel which of course Sadat had no intention of doing.
