谢谢!
ОтветитьThis is dope that you did this. Probably helped a lot of people
ОтветитьLong time fan, since the Slack clone tutorial☺Finished it all the way focusing more on NextJS parts! You're so good at what you does!
Ответить❤❤Ben i enjoy your teaching but please is the complexity of typescript really worth it. I know JS but i hate TS. Can someone convince to learn TS because right now i feel I should put that effort into learning a language like c++ that its complexity is worth it.
ОтветитьStarted this tutorial in June 2023, I'm 6 hours into it and this is the most I've learnt from any tutorial, did face some issues at the start while setting up the project but worked around it.
If you're thinking whether to start this in 2023 or not, you should 100% go for it. If you run into any errors, reply to this comment and I'll try to help you out.
Like to give a shout out to Ben for uploading this masterpiece. It was a couple of years ago when I was jobless and still struggling to learn how to code a fullstack website. Everything seemed to slowly clicked when I chanced upon this tutorial. It was difficult to follow at first, but provided a lot of room for further research and a general path to the libraries and concepts I needed to grow to be a better developer. I would highly recommend anyone who is learning to watch this video and Ben's other videos if you're looking to become a developer.
Ответитьit would be nice if you used mongoDB
ОтветитьI'm following the tutorial and i have this error from the moment i introduce the resolver ```Argument of type '{}' is not assignable to parameter of type 'FilterQuery<Post>'.
Type '{}' is not assignable to type 'number'.
return em.find(Post, {});
```
Anyone experienced the same?
Please, include subtitles for this video👏
Ответить5 min in, I am already impressed
ОтветитьHi Ben, Greetings from Mongolia. This video is outdated, which means it's from two years ago. Could you please use these technologies in the current version? :D
ОтветитьShould I watch this as it is 2 year old video?
Ответить13 hour course wow
ОтветитьI really appreciate your efforts.
It would be fantastic if you can add time stamps.
is This still relevant in 2023?
ОтветитьIf I haven't done any React but I know Angular, should I go do some other React beginner tutorial first?
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьtaking the course !
Ответитьapollo is just gold...their docs are * chefs kiss *
Ответитьi did the whole 14 hours!!! congrats to me...and kudos to you Ben for being awesome. Learnt so much!
ОтветитьIts already more than 2 years ago since I completed this tutorial. I was a junior dev at the time. I just got fired from my first dev job and had a lot of spare time. It took me 1 week to finish the tutorial. After that I used it as a boilerplate to build my first saas. That took me another 6 months to finish. I actually just realized that I have never looked at another tutorial since than. That is because this tutorial will give you all the fundamentals to build and deploy fullstack webapp. Anyway after 6 months unemployment I finally got hired at a big tech company based on the skills I acquired by building the saas software. Oh, and since I launched the saas software its generating money every day. My message to anyone who wants to have a career in tech. Complete this tutorial, even if it takes 2 months. Than start building your own webapp, dont look at other tutorials. Learn how to google. Never give up! Thanks Ben!
ОтветитьThe whole postgress setup skip-over left me super confused. I have no idea how to continue. Google link for "How to install postgress" had me done just that - install it.
ОтветитьHello, please can you add subtitles to your all videos on your channel? Thanks.
Ответитьthanks @Ben, I completed this tutorial in 2023!
ОтветитьAnyone struggling with req.session.userId? I saved it in the login resolver, but in the query me resolver, req.session.userId is undefined (req.session has the cookie info), cookie is set in the browser successfully... no clue what's happening. This doesn't work in graphql playground but it works fine in localhost:3000
ОтветитьToo good work
keep it UP!
For anyone who has completed this tutorial recently, would you say it's still worth doing in 2022? For example, is he using class-based or functional components?
ОтветитьYeah, I finally grinded through it after putting this in my bookmarks the whole time. This is no doubt the best tutorial ever, its a shame that I didn't watch this earlier!
ОтветитьI have finished today (took me more than 6 month) and got a front-end job a month ago. Thank you Ben!
ОтветитьMa banque, n'a même ces infos 🤣🤣
ОтветитьFor those of you who had errors in the db part, MikroORM Setup. Just put your user and password of choice.
```
export default {
migrations: {
path: path.join(__dirname, "./migrations"),
pattern: /^[\w-]+\d+\.[tj]s$/,
},
entities: [Post],
dbName: "lireddit",
type: "postgresql",
user: "postgres",
password: "postgres",
debug: !__prod__,
} as Parameters<typeof MikroORM.init>[0];
```
This is the 2222nd comment on this video 🎉.
Thank you for the tutorial Ben 😀.
For anyone who stuggle with not being able to get it running on the production (with custom domain), its because nginx config on digitalocean. If anyone will get stuck, just let me know here in the comments, I'll lead you to solve this problem. Took me guess 10 hours to solve this problem :D.
ОтветитьThis is awsome
ОтветитьPlease split the video in two for automatic subtitles!!
