Y'all. In all my years of listening to Blur (and Damon's work in general), this marks the first time I've ever heard Damon himself use a sentence enhancer in his music, let alone one starting with the letter F.
It was only a matter of time before he slipped.
Such a tremendous milestone to behold!

As said by others, definitely some Bowie influence. Guitar rhythm reminds me a bit of "It's No Game (Pt. 1)". In fact, several bits of the Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) album.

So great to hear these guys making what, for me, is their best ever stuff and doing it at this point in their careers.
