I currently have the Asus Rog Ally. I dont use it for modern AAA games, thats what my main PC rig is for, this i use to play wicked indie games, older AAA titles and the like including my back log of games and gamepass. People need to realise these handhelds have their limits

Putting 4k content behind a paywall is stupid, simply charge the uploader to post 4k content. It would stop the casual user from uploading 4k bs from their crappy phones, but those who still want the public to see their videos in 4k, can pay to upload it..

It's probably way too late, BUT. I had the same issue with Forza, worked for an hour then Never,Worked,Again..... The fix --- Turn on Bluetooth on your PC - dont ask me why this works it just does :)

Heres how i look at it. you can have the Nvidia card or you can have the card that gets COMPARED to the Nvidia card. Nvidia card tho its no comparison, it gets stuff compared to it.

Here's a workaround for fps hardcapped games at least for Nvidia:
Open Nvidia control panel and go to 3d settings. scroll down untill you find "set custom refresh rate" and set the number to somewhere around 3 times your monitor's refresh rate but keep vsync off (search for a tutorial on google about this, there's one with a graph for the appropriate numbers). Now when you have a game that has v-sync on by default, it will match the set refresh rate on your gpu, not your monitor. if the game itself is hardcapped at 60, turn on vsync in the Nvidia control panel and then some kind of magic happens that sets the game's hardcap to your custom refresh rate.
Im not sure if intell has made a control panel in the same regards as Nvidia. if they have, this fix should work as well. you're kinda just tricking either the game engine or the gpu to freely produce frames to whatever the hardware can manage.

I know this video is old at this point but ive seen this come up a bit and just wanted to share. had this issue with the master chief collection and fallout 3... they didnt work at 4k ultra settings from the start menu without some configuring.
