How to fix Valorant (or any other game) freezing when alt tabbing/pressing Windows Key

this was happening to me in Overwatch, randomly started one day while I was in game after playing with no issue for about a year on this pc. I remember this suddenly happening to me on old PC though, too. no other fixes worked. however when I went to do this fix, I realized that box was already unchecked -- so I checked it, and it fixed for me. maybe some games don't perform well when it's unchecked.

How do you make it so, that when you in a game and press windows key it shows taskbar while you're still in the game?. Because mine just exits to desktop

So when I play geometry dash and I press the windows key to do stuff off game but the game freezes and I cant exit out of the game at all and I have to turn off pc and turn it back on to get off of it.

Yo bro! You are a life saver . Just a reminder for you guys when u uncheck the box rather than restarting your game , restart the PC , thats how it worked for me

Bro I got fucking serious problem with my Warzone 2/3 days ago . I alt+tab my game for 5 minutes and came back my frames dropped from 100fps to 7/8 FPS , I tried everything what can fix this , I re-installed the game , Reset my whole pc and downloaded it again in new windows but still the problem hasn’t gone . Can someone help me with this 😥It really sucks bro Nothing is working with this glitch

My pc does this with every game but it freezes my entire pc and I can barely move my mouse and it won’t go away until the task bar or any notifications are gone from my screen and I can’t hit windows key or volume on my keyboard with out my entire pc freezing and it glitches out how do I fix this?

My game crashes 2 rounds after i press window key or sometimes 1 round will this fix work for that?

When I did this it was already checked off and it still freezes when I alt tab or click on anything and I have to unplug my computer completely

what about if your ingame of a valorant game and you press windows button but its not showing up

i totally hate it when it freezez.. when i turn off and on my monitor its just black screen and the sound in game is in the background.. only thing i do is to force shut down it which sucks.. its for the 4th time already thats why i uninstalled the game :/

If none methods works try going to windowed mode then back to fullscreen. it worked for me.

Still have the problem >_<, it can freeze when alt-tab out of windows, and when trying to get back to the game, everything feeze exept the mouse. And the only alternative is to force-close the computer with the reset button.

It probs worked for everyone else but for me, it did nothing, i know its just an issue with val and hope they fix it asap without us going out of our way to find a fix ourselves
