Unity was by far my fave assassins creed was the best and still is after ten years nothing still touches it I gladly only played it after about a year so had no issues

Calling Cyberpunk ALMOST masterpiece is just wrong. The game has still bugs and weird issues in the 2.0 version.

I would call it almost good game. Not almost great. Not almost masterpiece. Not almost perfect. Just almost good.

you could put Star Wars Battlefront 2 easily fucking easily on this list cuz if not for the whole loot box situation that game coulda been even greater but EA fucked up and fucked up bad to the point they gave up on a game a lot of people still play still hate that they gave up on it.

Cyberpunk is definitely my favorite game.. insttaled more than 800 mods, more than 300 hours play time, and more than 1k photos hahaha

If it weren't for the online mode, GTA 5 wouldn't have sold even 75% of what it sold. The campaign mode is really mediocre.

For me games that are perfection are splinter cell, ES4 Oblivion, bioshock, farcry 3.

Asylum is near perfect? It was ok at best on launch and immediately outdated when city came out...if anything you should put knight in this list for the awful batmobile crap

I had OoT on launch and I play it again periodically throughout the years, I love it. I would say with the Water Temple - if you don't know it well it can be long and tedious but it's probably one of the fastest temples if you know the pathing.

I'm sorry but it's without a doubt the worst protagonists of the series! They had three chances to get it right but we ended up with two of the most bland, white bread, 1 dimensional characters in all of entertainment. Which leaves Trevor where they really really tried to make him psychotic and interesting but he ends up where whining is his whole personality. The guy never stops complaining. He's that guy we all work with where everyone rolls their eyes when they see him coming. It's so bad I legit felt relief when he r@ped and tortured! At least it was a short change of pace. We've seen maybe 20 seconds of the two new characters in GTA6 and I'm 100% sure they've already done better. Then again, so did the writers from that Gollum game!

Final fantasy X- playing blitz ball was awful. Everything else was great!

tbh Cyberpunk in it's current state might be the best game ever made.

Some of these arguments about these games are extremely petty. I'm convinced that the guy talking is just a lazy gamer. Especially when he mentions mundane task in gaming. His points on GTA is the most childish. Idk how people take this seriously

Dragon age Inquisition not having a close combat option for archer and mage like DA2 did. I hate the look of shooting arrows at an enemy literally in your face

Dark souls at blight town I never had any frame rate problems. And it is called BLIGHT TOWN it’s supposed to be one of the later places you go it’s diseased look back to demon souls for crying out loud people. Yeah it’s a pain in the butt area won’t have to live there. It’s a diseased ridden hole. What do you expect? The water temple I was willing to put up with all of the annoying stuff about it cause I had Polaris guy for one thing I love shadow link, but the final boss for that temple was garbage stand in the corner so the thing can’t grab yet and log on to get it with the hook shot Lame, lame, lame.

You're right to include Dark Souls on this list--but you've missed the real reason! Blighttown is a frustrating setting and experience, but apart from the inevitable frames drop, it is narratively and thematically appropriate. The disgust it provokes is shockingly, sadly comparable to what our poor undead must experience when trudging through the poison.
The real reason that Dark Souls isn't quite a masterpiece is because the back end of the game is unfinished. By now we're all familiar with the studio history that led to the post-Anor Londo areas being unbalanced, repetitive, and often unfair. The game's back half isn't unplayable by any means, but the noticeable dropoff is particularly disappointing because it hints at how incredible DS could have been.

AC Unity didn't just have the best parcour in the series at the time, it still has the best one. even after almost 10 years and 5 games later.

Is Sekiro not on the list because it's a total masterpiece and not "almost" ?
