Ответить👍👍🎥🍿🎥🍿♥️
ОтветитьThis was the last episode that aired in the "Circle of Fear" a.k.a. "Ghost Stories" TV series before it was stupidly CANCELED in 1973. David Soul did an amazing performance here. With all the garbage that is on the air and streaming online in 2023, it blows the mind how good dramatic episodic programming on television really was half a century ago. And they had to CANCEL this series back then. Idiots.
ОтветитьI love the intro and it’s music.
ОтветитьInteresting story.
The old lady in red had several roles in the Golden Girls.
De de de de de you always see a VW Beetle on the streets of America in the 70s De de de Deee
ОтветитьSuperb script--unlike todays superficial stosh!!!!!
ОтветитьR.I.P. David Soul.
ОтветитьRest in peace David Soul 😪😪😪
ОтветитьThis was a terrific "devil's bargain" story. I liked the plot point that the devil had given you your heart's desire, only for you to find out it was the worst thing you ever did. It was hard feel a lot of sympathy for James---he was, in effect, a vampire, destroying innocent lives to preserve his own. Who knows how many innocent victims he had doomed? And it made it all the worse that he made his victims love him before he destroyed them. For betrayal is a worse crime than even murder. Holly too, fails to get my sympathy. Yes, she sacrificed herself for her lover, but was willing to destroy the lives of innocent young men, whom she would doom in the future, to get what she wanted. The ending was a bit unsatisfying, but James, in the end, was still selfish. He did not end the eternal cycle out of remorse for his victims, or even out of remorse for dooming Holly, but again out of an act of selfishness. He actually loved Holly and wanted to spare her his fate. Let's hope he managed it----but the devil is not so easy to shake off once you have tasted his temptation.
ОтветитьI believe that David Soul is playing guitar and humming "t seems I've Missed so much " in this episode
ОтветитьThis episode is a rip off of a Twilight Zone episode. I know I used the words rip off; I probably should have used kinder language; because I don't mean anything derogatory. It's just that I have the complete Twilight Zone series on DVD or Blu-ray, I don't remember which; and there is an episode very similar to this on TZ.
It's just like watching a good singer do a cover of someone else's song.
Pretty cool series. Reminds me of Night Gallery. Something about 70s spooky tv
ОтветитьHandsome david soul in his hayday
ОтветитьFAREWELL , DAVID SOUL ...
ОтветитьI just can’t get over that this is based on a true story and as unbelievable as it is, it really happened!
ОтветитьBack when TV was GOOD... Today TV is all a bunch of HORSESH*T
ОтветитьMacArthur Park, DTLA
ОтветитьWho plays Holly? She has a weird accent.
ОтветитьHerald Square, where? That certainly is not New York City!
ОтветитьLove her yellow phone. Wow. Remember dialing a number you MEMORIZED?
ОтветитьI wish I could find the version of the song that has the "dee dee dee" parts. All I can find is the song with words, not the pretty "dee dee dee" parts.
ОтветитьThe best horror movies and tv series were from the 70's and the worst serial killers. Then you had all the keg parties and panchos.. Whatta decade😮
ОтветитьGood episode and performances.
ОтветитьI hate todays society. Arrogant, self centered, conceited, obsessed with texting, boring, materialistic, nasty, foul mouthed, sexist.
ОтветитьThis is similar to the Twilight Zone episode Queen of the Nile
ОтветитьThe great Victor Jory. Always a pleasure.
Ответитьmust be the downtown LA part of herald square
ОтветитьWonder how she explained this to the next guy she dated? "I sold my soul to be with the last guy I dated in exchange for eternal youth. All I would have to do is suck the life out of others at night to keep it up. He wouldn't let me go through with it though and gave up his soul in exchange. So I'm single now."
Ответить« Da da Dee dee. Da da doo do . Dee dee dee 🎸 ». #1 with a bullet!
ОтветитьI never want to hear that damn song again lol
ОтветитьMusic by Billy Goldenberg.
ОтветитьSo Sabastian Cabot didnt host all of these? I loved how he was. He made this great.
ОтветитьIsnt that David Soul singing the dee dee dees in the scene with the woman sketching the kids feeding the ducks.
ОтветитьThey barely know each other lol!! "I think I love you..."
ОтветитьThe second l have watched this. I'd love to know why they have him dark contact lenses to wear.
ОтветитьI'll make you a deal like any other candidate. We'll pretend we're walking home cause your future's at stake. My set is amazing, it even smells like a street. There is a bar at the end where I can meet you and your friend. Someone scrawled on the wall 'I SMELL THE BLOOD OF LE TRICOTEUSES'
ОтветитьFabulous Sheila Larkin went on to play Scullys mom in The Xfiles.
ОтветитьUploaded in 2015, watching it in July, 2024. Makes me wonder what happened to Winston Essex. Hope he's alright.
ОтветитьParents didn't want me watching this show. But if they were visiting family and friends, then I could sneak off with the older kids and watch Circle of Fear. Now, I can finally catch up on a missing part of my childhood 😊
ОтветитьDavid Richard Solberg was his real name. RIP
ОтветитьI think this was the best one.
ОтветитьPretty good episode - thanks
ОтветитьI always love the servicevit is time to take it to heart
