ОтветитьMmmmmmmm tasty. Your top is too busy,,,not good for the eyes
ОтветитьThankyou
ОтветитьDon't call this rendang, this is so random. Learn how to cook rendang before you make a video on this dish ok?
ОтветитьBeautiful flavours and not a complicated recipe. My wife who’s not a curry lover ( spicy foods ) loved this dish. Having said that did not use the fresh chillies just a pinch of chilli powder. Thank you for demonstrating this we will be trying more of your recipes.
ОтветитьWow, Indonesian beef rendang!!! I am so proud, thanks for making it here. God bless you..
ОтветитьAt first, I was wondering what that was, but, until I watched till the end, you nailed it.. make beef rendang. Even though her technique differed from the original...It seems tasty and I want to try it. Love from Malaysia
ОтветитьThis looks absolutely delicious.stay connected with your new friend
ОтветитьOne of my faves😍
ОтветитьIf it’s not black than is not rendang 😂

ОтветитьNO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
ОтветитьThis looks beyond amazing!!
ОтветитьWill it freeze?
ОтветитьThanks for ensuring I never cook this in an oven
ОтветитьIndonesian here, rendang is usually spicy in indonesia. The spicier the better.
ОтветитьOmg. How good this recipe will be to try this very week..
ОтветитьSo many questions,...I'll start with a simple one, what in the name of all that is holy is the point of the flour?
ОтветитьThis looks fabulous?
ОтветитьPlease what Tempreture is the oven for that 90mins and 2 hours????
ОтветитьI use Allspice in place of ginger because my mom's allergic to it. 🌞
Ответитьcooking rendang for a maximum of 4/5 hours tastes the best 😋

Ответитьhello to you at kitchen sanctuary.i cooked this beef rendang yesterday what a fantastic tasting dish it was.i wondered if i could use some pork(from the leg)instead of beef and stick to the same recipe.i have a couple of indian friends who dont eat beef.and i also have a leg of pork in freezer that needs using up.look forward to your advice.kind regards ade.
ОтветитьHi Nicky. I'm really enjoying your top drawer recipes here !! I've made this one exactly as you show it and it was so tasty !! On a light hearted note I reckon you should get some bigger bowls for your marinading. Always spilling stuff :):) Looking forward to your next recipe !!
ОтветитьToo dry.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed making this dish.
Just a tiny twist I substituted the black pepper for Szechuan pepper.
Lovely dish and full of flavour.
Great videos and well presented 👍🏻
I am Indonesian and currently living in the UK. Your rendang looks tasty 😍
ОтветитьHello, thank you for bringing up Indonesian cuisine. As Indonesian live in LA, I'm happy when non-Indonesian cook my country's food because it means more exploration of Indonesian culture. I feel Indonesian culture and cuisine is not known popularly comparing to the neighboring countries such as Thailand or Vietnam. Thank you again.
ОтветитьU know what's best from this recipe and of course the demo?
U not made it less Indonesian by makin your own "authentic" ver or to make it more "understandable" for non-Indon, no.
That's how it's really supposed to be (except for some slight var. out there) And honestly, as an Indonesian i am really, really thankful how u appreciate and also promotin our culture through this vid
Cheers, ma'am.
Explained it very well, your version looks close like the authentic dry rendang. And i love the way you say rendang :)
However, have you ever tried your version without the flour? (If you want to thicken it up, you can add toasted desiccated coconut at the end) and leave the sugar out.
I know all ingredients are hard to find but you did well 👍
Looks delish. Can you cook it in a slow cooker?
ОтветитьAn Indonesian friend introduced me to this dish, I will try it soon. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьMy kind of food x
ОтветитьThis is a gem! Im an indonesian living in the States.

Looks lovely. My colleague, who is from Indonesia, made this for our works Christmas buffet last year. It was delicious 😋
ОтветитьExcellent nicely cooked where can I get lemon grass please.
