ОтветитьThis was good
ОтветитьAm an upcoming rapper ,I don't know how I can send you my song ,I just recorded on beats , but I would love to record
Ответитьcan you make one on how to "rap" better, like when you write down lyrics how do you implement them into your music
ОтветитьI love this thank you🥰🥰
ОтветитьI didn’t have one. Now I do TYSM ♥️.
Ответитьit hard for me to write a rap it how it going to start and how it sounds like
ОтветитьHonestly, I'll start with the 1st 4 columns
of the page, & work my way down.
Also, I'll dot the page
( borrowed that from Rakim ),
so can establish the flow & scheme
wanna go with..but leaves room
2 change it as needed.
Appreciative 2 have found this video, Curtiss

1 hot album every 20 years average and that's so ....Laaaaaammmmeeeee..
ОтветитьI don't force myself it just come to me
ОтветитьI use an app that gives me random words, then for each word i try to find things that rhyme. from there i try to find a concept and use those words in there.
ОтветитьI like that part, you actually write every concept you get, so that you use it in the future. As for I tend to forget the way my concept is going or how the flow went, so I use my phone, actually I make a full song most of the times. Just raw recording on my phone. Tho its hard to get back to the same recording and re-record it.
ОтветитьThis was so helpful as some who has learned so much from you when it comes from making beats I’m so grateful for these writing tuts I’m really pushing myself to become a full fledge artist this year thank you so much!
ОтветитьNiiiiiice, You covered a lot of good tools here. My good friend uses the GIBERISH model a lot. I LOVE IT (that he does it) - I use a lot of dictionary/etc tools. and Rhyming clusters. good shit.
ОтветитьWhy everything feelin so different, that shii fuckin wit my head
when I wake up I thank god, cause I got loved ones gone and dead
plenty cards don’t force my hand, Ian Neva been scared to play it
Won’t Neva bite my tongue if you wrong then I’m Gon say it
Dude what a great video. Best tips I’ve seen. This is one I’ll probably rewatch before each writing session to keep these tips fresh on the brain.
ОтветитьIs that King's beat in the bg, Casanova one?
ОтветитьLove the “gibberish method” that’s my go to.
I like the idea of writing down concepts that move you. Defn gotta do that.
Nahz is getting so big lol he a grown man now lol
ОтветитьDope advice bro! Thanks for sharing your process!
ОтветитьMan I don't know why but I haven't been fed your videos recently even though subbed. I see you been busy. Nice work bro bro!
ОтветитьWow bro. Thanks a lot.
ОтветитьI have found that by going to a place that’s not your home or bedroom can help you just get inspired from the ambient and just express those feelings
ОтветитьSo dope !
For my writing style, I may get little phrases in my head, And if I like it I’ll write it down, I may turn it into a song or just leave it there to come back to, It’s never forced and When I do write it comes as I write, Like someone’s telling me exactly what to write and I let it guide me
This post is so on time bro!!! I cannot tell you how valuable this is. I love the rhyme clusters idea. I just tried this today and it really got my ideas flowing and kept me focused on the content of the song when I got into actually writing the verse. I been using Lyric studio and it's definitely a dope tool. In my song process I usually start with the mumble melody method and then fill in lyrics afterward. Again, thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI don’t rap anymore, only produce. But when I did I would ALWAYS mumble gibberish to get my flow down and then I’d turn them into lyrics. But another key thing that I’d always do is I’d imagine how my favorite rappers would sound on the beat I’d make, or the beat I’d feature on, and I’d take inspiration from their lyric writing style.
For example: if I was on a beat that I’d spaz on, I’d imagine how Eminem or Tech N9ne would sound on it and how I could make the verse sound like my own. If it was a more mellow track, I’d imagine how Kendrick or J Cole would sound and I’d find a way to make it sound like me.
Could you chill on the closet door 🚪 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆dope method brother🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьI feel like you are Beast at Boom Bap beats.
ОтветитьI tried the rhyming clusters technique and all I got was skirt that, yeat that, drop that, AYEE!
ОтветитьI want to be a rapper producer, just Ye but. I just started producing for like not more than 5 months. And i can say am decent. Hearing u started over 20yrs ago takes the heart out of me😰 what should i do to be as potentially good at my first years????because am aware of the first years being whack😂
ОтветитьAs a father myself, I immediately said "he needs his diaper changed" as soon as Naz stood up. I hope you had a great Father's Day
ОтветитьGems💎
ОтветитьYep! You basically explained my process, minus the organization. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm definitely tightening this up asap. I'm ready and it's long overdue. Once again, you come thru right when I need you and when I need that extra push! 🎯🎯🎯Awww LOVE TO LIL BIG Nahz (HE IS GROWING SO FAST!) !!! (Loved Darn3ll 's cameo, so PERFECT ) 🔥🔥🔥 Oh yeah , I'm gonna give that lyric studio a shot, let's test it out on these unfinished songs!!! Ayeeee! FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOU! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
ОтветитьGood information. My process varies from song to song. Sometimes I'll come up with a concept to fit the beat, or I piggyback a whole verse or song off the concept/flow of the first few lyrics, other times I already have free lyrics that I match to a beat. Sometimes I'm deliberate with what I want to write, other times lyrics come from random moments that happen throughout the day, or maybe I freestyle a couple nice bars that make it into a song. Occasionally I'll use a rhyme dictionary if I get stuck or feel like I'm forcing something.
ОтветитьThis is the one I been waiting on, I am the polar opposite. I been making beats since early adolescence but songwriting is my Achilles. Thanks for the tips King, especially the rhyming clusters. That's some next level shit
ОтветитьMuch love Curtis.
I usually look for a starting line and it will lead to other lines as well as providing direction for the track. I use rhyme zone if I am stuck. I will definitely borrow some of the steps you use.
I like the advice
ОтветитьHere to smash the like and I'm comin back to comment after I eat some brunch. LFG BIG BRO alrady know this dem FIRE GEMS. 🔥 💎💪🏽👊🏽
Ответить👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьOff buck your first gem was one I must practice because I tend to not have direction sometimes... I watch battle rap because they paint lyrical metaphoric pictures. This was dope
