Then yes. You will burn threw your tires faster due to being on that same little contact patch all the time than say you would at a race track where your at the limit and under load all the time using more of or all your tire the whole time
Why don't they just make camber tires that are leveled with the road? Sheesh, 2023 and they haven't invented them.
ОтветитьUsually caused by a bent shock/ strut by hitting a major bump in the road. If you do this on purpose, you'll spend hella money on tires and other suspension work.

ОтветитьUp to neg 3⁰ of camber is acceptable anything more and your reducing your contact patch. Only reason more than that would be good would be if it's a skid car as on full lock the inner wheel gains around 5⁰-15⁰ish positive camber. Half degree toe out at the front half deg toe in on rear usually ideal for fast road use.

ОтветитьThe camber thing started as trying to drop a car but here's the thing. You can only go as low as the frame or pinch welds will let you. Get a proper drop kit for that lowered look and all you have to worry about is clearance not replacing $1000 worth of tired every oil change

ОтветитьWell lots of camber is good for drifting, in corners when youre going sideways, it gives more surface area for the tires to wear and as lond as you drift enough then you will be fine. Track cars also have a little camber for the same reason
