perspective distort is not available in my illustrator how can i flate text plzzz any alternative tool??

If you can't get the perspective distort to work, which it took me a while to figure out why (I'm a noobie), go to the "Object" dropdown at the top and click flatten transparency. No settings need to be changed. You can try it again and it should work.

no popup when I clicked the free transform tool so I cannot access to perspective mode

I love this video, it is very easy to follow. But, when I go to change the perspective the word won't move and nothing is happening. I'm not sure if I have something not clicked properly or not.

hi, im a bit stuck on about 4.45mins in, hold shift/alt to create the second shadow? im on mac i googled i think its option and alt but i cant get it to work, any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? so far super easy to follow. thank you.
