All these Cards are powerhorses. My 7900XT upgrade coming from 6700XT is remarkable. And its only at 1440p with 50% more fps.

Lol nvidia fans 🤣 even at ray tracing 4080 didnt have much a diference quite disappointing 500 dolars is what get you ray tracing its more a money grab then anything to justified a overprice card that way radeom its for me no overprice like nvidia and i get what i paid

7900xt cost same as 4070ti 7900xtx in same price range as 4080.. So for better graphic go for nvidia.. for low end graphic go for amd simple as pasulj.

There was no summary for power consumption. Its fairly evident that AMD is trash this generation again.

I saw spiderman benchmarks where the 7900xtx performed better than the rtx 4090 because it prefers amd. So how the rtx 4080 outperforms the 7900xtx now is a mystery to me

i still think for new generation 4000 is better because it has a really good power consumption so for me it cost less if we think like this (for me 4070ti best but 4080 too expensive)
OK amd cost less BUT nvidia has some advantage(i only see 12go for disavantage) and i'm doing VR so do we need to repeat how 7000 runs it ?

nvidia maybe a bit expensive. but in the long run, that low power consumption is a big deal for me.

AMD literally burns electricity bill. Yes, you can limit, undervolt it, but same goes with nvidia and you will end up finding that nvidia is efficient as hell.

Ray tracing is like government support for poor users who can’t afford raw performance with low budget against heavy 3D games.

i bought rtx 4080 like 1 years ago already playing on 1440p and i can say this card is savage and u can play all title u want with at least 70 fps without dlss or fsr

i didnt know the 4070ti was taht much behind everywhere.. back when i was upgrading half a year ago, it was the only one that was affordable in my country ( still retarded price, but whatever) a 4080 was literally double the price than 4070ti, and still almost is today. a 4080 costs TWO average monthly salaries where im from lmfao.
i mean its not that much of a difference, but i am definitely not enabling RT in any games.. i dont know if im just spoiled or overly sensitive to fps, but when ur used to playing everything at 100-144 fps, whenever it dips to lke 60-70 it feels unplayable.

Nvidia is better than amd. If u don't care about price, go for Nvidia without thinking. Amd is good for gaining better fps in low price in comparison to Nvidia

Wandering why amd cards are performing almost good as Nvidia cards in terms of Ray tracing? Well it needs a environment where there is watery surface or something reflective. In those sceneries, you can find the difference.

that 4070ti really is a good card. if only it were 100$ less msrp, amd would have no place in high tier. same with the 4080. if that were 800$ itd no doubt be the best card. and be sold out.

This is the perfect test for me, since I have the closest CPU to this. I almost went for the 7900xt, but opted for the 7900xtx. The way I see it, I'm going to use this computer almost everyday for years, I might as well sacrifice more money for a much richer experience over time. Less regrets!

Hi. I have also 7800x3d with 7900xt but in msfs 2k ultra i get only max 46 fps over newyork... But your fps is above 100 how is it possible?

Funny on these tests, they never show 4k when it would point out the weakness of 12 and 16gb of vram isn't it.

I think ray tracing would be extremely noticeable in darker environments where direct light sources are more scarce. Ofc I have no first hand experience lol

This is really confusing me. Anyone on here tell me why the VRAM used is different depending on the card being used? Even when the parameters for the game being compared are the same? For example, Resi 4 with RT on is using 15993MB of VRAM on the XTX yet only 10344MB on the 4070 Ti.

1440p dlss quality is ass on 1440p display
not enough data for dlss to upscale from 960p up to 1440p
dlss useful from 1440p to 2160p

gotta use dlaa with 4080 at 1440p

Thanks for the bench! I'm still not sure what to pick between the 7900 XT and 4070 Ti (or even the 7900 XTX for 150 more bucks), although Alan Wake 2 is offered now if going for Nvidia's.

The fact that all these cards can do >90fps most of time, just pick the least expensive. Who needs more fps than that?
