It is now 2023 and the new anime Trigun Stanpede just release and I never watched the original.

I made my goal to watch it before looking at the new show and despite a slow start (that is kind of entertaining enough to push you through the 10 or so episode of comedi before picking up in story) it is fun to watch until the end.

It is indeed pretty damn amazing to get such a nice story and characters for such an old anime. You could say it still hold up even today.

I highly recommend Trigun, that being said I don't recommend binging it after Diablo.

TRIGUN IS BACK with a great 3D studio who made land of the lustrous!

One of my very favourites. An incredible artistic effort on every level. The story is beautiful, and the voice acting makes up for the flawed animation. A work of art from beginning to end. Your channel is good too.

I just finished watching this entire show for maybe the 3rd or 4th time, and I must say that it STILL holds up so well in my humble opinion. Definitely in my top 5 all time list. Also you gotta love an anime you can watch from start to finish within a week. Definitely not the last time I will be doing so.

old animations makes me wnat to watch a show even more, 90% of the time the older the show the better, my top 5 consists of mainly old shows, for example samurai champloo

I hope we see a Trigun Maximum adaptation. Like a full true-blue FMA Brotherhood treatment

This is one of the rare times where unlike most people I would like a more accurate manga adaptation. the reason why I can’t stand parts of this adaptation and I hated the ending it felt incomplete.

I remember seeing this back in the day, but because it was on a broadcast routine I never got to see many episodes. Now all the episodes are on Netflix and I can finally watch them back to back. While back in the day I thought the style was a little dusty, I love it now for the more classic design of anime characters.

But the one thing that stuck with me most... is how more serious this anime was than I thought. I never got to see a whole lot of episodes, and most were the first few, so I thought it was just a bit of a comical adventure with our main hero. But boy, does it go dark halfway of the show, I didnt expect that, but it got me even more invested in the characters and story.

I watched this anime around 2013 and i love that you covered it so well

If there are people who think older anime isn’t worth watching because of the animation they should be permanently banned from ever watching anime. Older animation has a quality to it that newer animation could never hope to reach.

Ive seen alot of anime.over years and overlooked trigun. Took a ton of rso yesterday and later on i was watchin hulu i put trigun and apparently feel asleep and woke up at ep8 lol. Now i got curious about this show gonna check it out again from begining. Seems pretty good

I doubt you’ll see this, but I used to watch your reviews religiously! I don’t watch new anime as much as I used to (like when I was 13/14 versus now being 21) but I still rewatch my favorites such as trigun. thank you for your reviews over the years, they’re not only informative and honest but entertaining to watch.

I dont get why people just refuse to watch older shows, my sister loves anime but if i give her a show from the last century or mecha she will flat out refuse to watch it either because it looks old or giant robots are boring.

Except for the voice actor of Vash, I've noticed that guys in like every single anime not joking like almost every single one of them

I don't get why people won't watch old anime, the animation style of the 90s and the creative skills of the 90s is why 90s anime are my favorite. I mean come on man

I just rewatched the DVD's, something about the old film grain style ages like a fine wine for me! They just don't make shit like this anymore it's a shame.

Trigun and Bebop are inextricably linked for me because they both came out in the US around the same time, I think I even bought them together, and they both have amazing soundtracks (seriously-Trigun’s soundtrack can definitely stand next to Yoko Kanno’s magnificent work anyway.) sliiiiide guitar, baby! Also both voice casts were stellar-something pretty shocking at the time it was released

Loved it one of the best anime ever

I'm pretty sure I saw this video when it came out and was like, "Yeah! It's on the list I"ll watch it . . .eventually." 2020 and now I stumble upon this again and just bought the series and movie. Can't wait to finally sit down and watch an anime that friends have been recommending for literal decades now!

I've thought about this anime recently. With all the chaos going on in our world I imagine Vash holding up a peace sign and saying "This land is filled with love and peace."

I Hate Vash. Good conclusion... HATED the build up

In terms of dubs. I was quite impressed by ther russian dub. It was first time when i found dub much better than original and english.
