Cas!!! I just had a HUGE break through! I've been organizing my paperwork all wrong for years! Thanks for this video. I am a cricket, but with 5 kids have learned to be more ladybug and use BIG categories. Still no luck with paperwork. I was watching this video and the 💡 moment came when you said to zone 1st. It dawned on me I always thought I HAD zoned already because my papers were only in one place. I realized I had to zone each paper into a big category 1st, then I could declutter. Duh. I was trying to declutter as I went through the stack, which is okay for obvious trash, but then I was overwhelmed because I couldn't make decisions fast 'cuz there were no smaller categories. Your system works perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

Working for someone for tow months for 250 dollars: that’s not the clients fault. That’s the professional not being able to set boundaries. I work as an artist I have to quote people all the time and be firm and set boundaries. I know your a lot better now but the story should be a warning to all professionals. Be SUPER clear up front on how much time you are willing to exchange for what you have quoted your client!

I normally don't watch the "crafty" make overs because they don't resonate with me. I am SO glad that I watched this one though. Stacy appears to be such a wonderful woman, and I was rooting for her all the way. Teachers really helped me to grow into the woman I became, and Stacy reminded me of them. The result was perfect for who she seems to be. As an aside, any video with Cas is always amazing!

I still can't figure out witch bug i am ... is there a ADHD bug 😒 i like all the styles but seeing them all gives me Anxiety and makes me feel overwhelmed and then my brain goes into to hyper mod trying to be all the bugs 🙃 Jesus please take this messy wheel! I know its not about what we like but what works .... i have no clue what works everyone of my rooms looks the same a MESS .... 😖

Thank you for being real. We all have days where we feel that we are hanging on by a thread and even it's frayed. ThT emotionally we are done and over it and being iverwhelmed only makes it worse. So I'm glad I'm not alone and with you being honest with us, it helps people to understand that it's okay not to be okay.

The other teacher you mentioned at the end, if she didn’t offer you more money for the time you had to spend at her home, that speaks volumes to the type of person she is. And I have had so much anxiety from all the stuff I have collected in my craftroom and get so overwhelmed. I have given items away with hime decluttering but my so hard to give from this area. I do have to boxes full so far for a nursing home and need to just deliver so not staring at it . But have so many DT Christmas items etc. Would love zoned area but better yet to feel no anxiety when wanting to craft I feel like moving items from one area to another . Tfs great job xoxo

I was on a waitlist for “The Four Tendencies,” and just got it. Cass , it explains everything! I see why I find time to do things for others, but not me. I have all day to do my physical therapy exercises, but they don’t get done till the end of the day. And I shouldn’t do them while watching tv! I think the reason I do them is because the physical therapist is “watching” to make sure I do them. Accountability! Same with going to Weight watchers for years.

Teachers need floor to ceiling cabinets with clear labeled bins. Organize like with like system. And a huge table in the center of the room!

I’m working on my sewing/craft room, but I’m not being successful. I’d love to see more like this. The rest of my house isn’t too bad, although I continue to find things to donate every time I go through the house. My craft room = disaster

Cass I am a teacher but I am the opposite of the ones you met. Why? I am a specialist who changes among classrooms so I need to grab fast what I need. I have a small limited space at school for my items, although I have some items related to my job in my home, I also limited my space for them. That's the best decision I made. Greetings from Spain

I'm a cricket teacher :( It's hard! Hahaha! I have also switched between special ed and general ed. So I have things for infant developmental level to 4th grade general ed level. Moving across country at the end of the school year and nervous to try and pack and get rid of stuff.

Cas, it has been a breakthrough for me to follow your advice to start with macro organization and know that "you can always go back and make it perfect later" (which I often find I'm content and don't need to!).
