What people seem to forget is at the end of the twighlight of apprentice we see Vader limping away. Just goes to show how powerful she really was
ОтветитьComing back to this fight after Ahsoka season 1 ended and comparing animated, Rebels era Ahsokas fighting to style to live-action, Rosario Dawson's portrayal, and the mixed reaction to her choreography, I actually think they did a really great job of matching her technique from Rebels to Ahsoka.
ОтветитьExactly how many times is Vader gonna get his helmet cut open in a duel lol
Ответитьit would be nice to see this as a flashback in the ahsoka show and include it with luke in a scene.
ОтветитьJesus! Vader gives no quarter, whether in defense or offence!
ОтветитьWhat a stupid show. Both TCW and Rebels is pure trash. Darth Vader has killed many powerful Jedi in his time as a Sith lord. This just goes to show you that Ahsoka is far worst of a mary sue than Rey Skywalker. Her accomplishments are gratuitously given to her by Dave Filoni. TCW and Rebels are nothing more than retconned, fan-fictioned, kid show. No wonder the expanded universe had to be considered non-canon. Too many events that has taken placed in the star wars clone wars has been omitted and/or altered for no good reason at all.
ОтветитьThe best detail of this fight is that Vader uses both hands from the start. Usually he starts one handed and switches to a 2 handed stance. So he saw Ahsoka as a genuine threat from the start.
Ответить“I’m no Jedi…” 😮💨🔥
Ответить"!Revenge is not Jedi way" if this wasn't Skywalker being uncounciously talking to her to prevent her to go to the Dark Side of the Force, I don't know what more else could be.
ОтветитьWhy can’t the live action duels be this good or at least what they once were in the prequels?
Ответитьahsoka were stronger
Ответитьrebels on top
ОтветитьAshoka remain all the fight on the defensive and will be dead without Ezra
ОтветитьIm so glad you cut out the "I need more training" line. Ruins the badassery of this fight
ОтветитьThis is literally the only moment in Star Wars rebels that ever gave me emotions, except for maul and kenobis final battle. Nothing else in the series comes anything close to this, which is a shame cus it doesn’t have anything to do with the show’s original characters.
ОтветитьTo be honest I think ashoka at her prime would kick vaders ass in a lightsaber only duel. Look at how she moves in clone wars s7.
ОтветитьWhy does ezras lightsaber have erectile disfunction
ОтветитьI love how only Luke was able to take the mask off of Darth Vader and bring back Anakin. Great writing.
Ответитьwatch this scene over any episode of ahsoka
ОтветитьI can’t help but love Vader’s silhouette. The cloak hanging down from his shoulders removes most detail, and the simplistic design of the helmet when viewed from the back adds to that. Should anyone see his shadow looming over them, it’s hard to distinguish what that shadow is feeling other than rage. He is merciless, unfeeling.
Ответитьwhy does it keep laggin
ОтветитьI wish Ashoka died here. Would of been a great end to her character
ОтветитьYou can tell that Vader was at least subconsciously, NOT trying to kill ashoka - I mean he is, but he's also letting off these freudian slips here and there, as far gone into his persona as Vader (being willfully ignorant of who this person is) He straight up offers her amnesty in the beginning. He threatens Ezra as if to turn away his focus from her. He mocks and reprimands her for her MOTIVATIONS specifically, as if to question why she's here. He knocks her off the platform of the pyramid at another point. etc, etc. Vader is immensely messed up inside, and when he goes on the assault, he's giving his all for sure. And yet, regardless of the actual windows he may or may not haveg had to kill her, he is markedly less domineering with her than he is with others. The respect he projects is belied with some amusement, some genuine rapport he tries to form - again, as messed as he is, as he believes that this is civilized discussion. And then of course, his turn to absolutely just give up and rage in despair. I really love this fight.
ОтветитьThe fact she lasted so long makes her a top fighter. Vader is OP
ОтветитьAhsoka and Anakin journey is better than the new trilogy. Hell… even more than Luke and Leia’s journey. Obi Wan and Ahsoka lived with him and saw his downfall. This whole scene is full of enotions
ОтветитьAfter the Ahsoka finale, it's good to return to such a masterpiece of a scene
ОтветитьI wish Ahsoka fought this well in the live action series
ОтветитьWhy has Disney chosen to make clumsy slow Jedis now? Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka is half as fast and agile as this one. Also, where are the jumps and acrobatics?
Ответитьreally wish all of this was live action..
ОтветитьThis 5 mintues fight is far better than Disney star wars sequels
Ответить😢
ОтветитьI love how Anakin can't keep himself from reminding Jedi's teachings to Ahsoka: "Revenge is not the Jedi way!"
ОтветитьLive.... or die.
ОтветитьPeople coming here after Ahsoka started airing.
ОтветитьAfter watching Ahsoka episode 5 live action fight, it makes you appreciate this version a lot more
ОтветитьAfter the newest episode of Ashoka , now we know what Vader meant by you will die.
ОтветитьI came back here after watching Ahsoka's rematch with Anakin from her show thinking that Ahsoka told him here that he won't fight him. He responded that he heard that before. But she said I will not leave you. When did Anakin last hear her tell him that she won't fight him?
ОтветитьThis is like the only scene from Rebels I actually enjoy
ОтветитьUr smart figure that shat out batch 😂
ОтветитьOne thing they definitely get wrong in the live action show is the fact that Asoka is extremely acrobatic. It’s literally her fight style.
ОтветитьI know we’re focused on Ahsoka, but I love how Ezra repeats Kanan’s ‘You’re smart; figure it out’ line in an effort to hide his fear
ОтветитьAnyone here after watching Asoka fight Baylan?
