There is too much uncertainty to be able to "pick winners" especially if you are looking for 10x. Sure anyone can 3-4x BTC but that is not so exciting. There are around 20 projects that seem to have a high chance of gains over the next 2 years, they are all down 90%.. Why not get a small piece of most of them? If you average a 10x and a few runaways, you will do very well.

Thats a 3x in the next bull run.

65 percent in bitcoin and 20 percent in ethereum won't give you great returns. Most people in crypto are trying to turn a little money into a lot and you can't do that with those coins. You need coins with the potential to 50-100x to make life changing money.

"degen" comes from "degenerate gambler", someone who is obsessed with gambling and stacking gains. The chart for tokens they love looks like a "degenerator" because they typically habe no long-term thesis and are purely swing/day trading bags

good info james.. just another reason why you NEED to start investing in the bearmarket: failing cryptos are gone, the market cleansed itself so there is a higher chance you pick some winners from the projects that survived

I am 70% eth and btc. My other alts are smart contract platform tokens. If you are a degener you need to have the smart contract platform tokens to pay the gas fees in their ecosystems.
