NOTE: I said the Coyote X stunt car ended up as the Knight Rider 2000 PILOT, as in the series, with the Knight 4000. And that's correct.

Wow! Thanks for super video! About Faceman`s Vette: long time ago at A-team fan site I`ve read that multiple rental cars were used. So they just took a random white 1984 corvette, put a red stripe, filmed it in episode and returned it back. So its very hard to trace the actual cars that were filmed in the show back that days, besides that explains why different licence plates were used in show on same car...

Universal Studios had ~23 cars, for Knight Rider, but there are only 5 genuine KITT cars, left in the world, as the rest were destroyed by the producers, upon a promise to General Motors, who supplied a surplus of vehicles, that couldn't be sold to the public, when they were involved in a train derailment, en-route to dealerships in California. Of the remaining vehicles some had to be heavily restored, and, are held in private collections, plus, many replicas are often listed as genuine, by unscrupulous sellers, but lack certain markings of the original vehicles ...

I've got a question about a "Where is it now" car not on your list... What happened to the car used in the live action Disney move "Condorman"?

I remember seeing the Gazelle used in Blue Thunder when I visited DisneyWorld in 1990. It was in pretty bad shape back then but the tail section was still attached back then.

I missed the chariot from Lost in Space. Somebody was using it at a ski resort with the class cover removed and rotting away. I believe somebody bought it and restored it

There was another show with 2 semi trucks with helicopters. One episode I remember was when one of the semi went back in time and a group of teenagers tried to race the truck with their sports car at the time.

All i know is this kitt is the greatest but my all time favorite is the A-team van

i remember tv show called Automan. Pretty good show to me.

Thank you so much for making this wonderful collection of the most memorable 1980s vehicles that ever graced either the silver screen or tv. There's one memorable car that i think no one remembers this car. The Lancia Stratos Zero car from the 1988 Michael Jackson 's Moonwalker movie.........OMG i loved that car! The car was a triple changer turning the late King of Pop (R.I.P MJ) into a giant robot, a jet, and a that memorable car for the smooth criminal music video within the movie. Truth be told that the sharp angular and smooth design of the car define the very music video. The car was even featured on both Sega Genesis and Arcade games.
I can't find a model kit of the car, perhaps i will create a paper mache' model myself!

Honorable mention: The Car, I'm totally aware that the movie was created in 1977. I remember seeing this classic horror movie in the 1980s Saturday afternoon movie way before Christine. The Lincoln Continental Mark III will Christine a run for her money in a versus round!

Last I checked, that Airwolf replica was moved off the mansion, so the place could be sold, and it parked in the Van Neys airport, despite not being able to fly.
