I have to agree that the sound effects and music are mixed too loudly. It almost sounds in some parts like you are competing with them, rather then them gently aiding the reading. I also don't feel that there are sufficient differences in tone and timbre between the characters. You might also like to put the characters slightly in different channels, so that there is more of a sense of space between the narrator and the characters.

Very good reading... But all the sound effects are seriously distracting and annoying.
They're just a little bit to loud for one and things like e.g hearing someone brushing their teeth is like cutting a ceramic plate with a serrated knife to my ears.
Sorry, the reading was, as stated above, very good. Nice pacing, clear pronounciation and good balanced emotional tone, if sound effects doesn't bother you, this is a really good upload.
It's just not for me.

I'll spare you any painful poetry and shall endeavor to not panic. But this is the best audio version of this particularly fine piece of literature I have encountered. Thank you, and looking forward to the next installment.

Later in my early 30's, I bought a Wonderful fancy leather bound hard cover book that had all his books contained in it 📖. Still have it too 😊.
