In order to generate 10,000 unique visitors, you need to start a NASCAR blog. Even if you hate NASCAR and wish it would go away, you have to pander - I mean - choose the niches that high numbers of people are interested in.

You're a niche guy. Pandering to the audience is your thing. Don't try to sell the audience anything original. They don't like change.

Hi Neil Patel. I have a blog and few subscribers. Each time make a new post, the full article goes into their mail and therefore no need for them to visit the blog cause they can read the full article right from their mail. So, how do I make them click the link to the article? Or how do I stop the full article going into their mail. Is there any plugin I can use?

Your suggestions are costly and do not work for a new blogger. They seem outdated and costly and most important suggestion you missed is from where will I get my audience? If I know moms will read my blog then How will I connect with them... thats what should be told.

I'm really getting desperate and downcast, honestly. I've been at it for 5 months, and the only one of my 15 subscribers that actually opens the link in my emails is my mom. Literally.
I've tried a lot of things, and none of it seems to actually increase traffic. Whenever I put out a post that I think is interesting, current, thought-provoking, eye-opening even maybe, it feels like all I get in return is crickets. Only a stray friend that gives me a like on Facebook.
I know I'm not fit for anything marketing-related. I detest the idea of using tricks to get what you want, it feels so dishonest to me sometimes.
I also don't know how to find competitors. The subject of my blog is so hard to describe in simple terms. It isn't all over the place in terms of content, but there isn't one easy description for it like 'cooking' or 'travel' or 'sports'. I write about issues in society, I deconstruct social constructs and I try to break taboos, I explain about mental health concepts like ADHD and autism (which I both have). It's a sort of rounded 'educate society and help it move forward'-thing. So how to describe that in search terms? Where to find competitors?
And on top of all of that I just feel like if there are competitors they'll be better at it than I am, anyway. I don't know, after five months with almost zero growth, I'm losing hope. I'd be alright if I saw a slow but steady increase, but there's nothing. No new subscribers. No growth in visitors or views. Nada.
