Always great to remind the community that the souls games are more than just bosses!

One of my favorite parts of gank ape is that you can skip it entirely if you just happen to visit the village before its first encounter and can skip travel past the arena on revists. On first playthrough I did this by coincidence and ended up getting jumpscared after backtracking from the village and landing on its head. Easily among my most memorable experiences with Sekiro

What's great about the crap parts of Souls is that they still always manage to be the coolest thing you've ever seen. Shrine of Amana and Lake of Rot are gorgeous, Swamp of Sorrow is deliciously disgusting, and Lost Izalith is home to many a magnificent monstrosity. Alternatively they could be the new goofiest thing ever, like Capra Demon's signature broom closet gank, or The Great Hollow's pachinko machine of consecutive disasters. FromSoft is the GOAT of creating the worst time ever that you'll take with a big, stupid smile on your face.

Mmm... Favorite underrated part of Soulsborne? Honestly, I don't know if this is underrated in the community, but the online of Dark Souls 2, especially in its prime. Spent hundreds of hours in co-op, PvP —particulary on the bridge of Iron Keep, making fight clubs and duels, and arenas— with both friends and randoms. Truly a splendid moment to be alive.

I will always stand by the fact that navigating the Tomb of the Giants with a skull lantern is actually very fun. If you've been breezing through hallways with your second hand shield, it's a fun challenge to alternate between holding up your light and ganking skeletons.

“Frozen Eleym Loyce is probably the best area in all of Soulsborne”

I feel like you need a little more context to just throw that out lol. But that wasn’t the point of the video, so it’s all good. In fact I think I disagree with every DS2 take pretty heavily.

The Living Failures section was great though, and wish you a merry Christmas!

One I’d contribute is that Subterranean Shunning Ground is one of the best dungeons they’ve made. I much prefer how hard the maze is, and getting my favorite ending in all of Elden Ring.

I love the Blight Town runout because even after playing the game a gazillion times it still manages to be stressful as hell sneaking out of there (or even scarier, trying to sneak out after sneaking in there early game to grab some mid game loot)

If ancient wyvern didn't have a boss health bar, I think people would like it a lot more.

I'm glad the Gank Squad almost made it on here. Honestly, they might be my favorite puzzle boss in the series. As a 1 v 3 it forces you to consider the terrain and figure out how you can use it to your advantage in a way no other boss fight requires and it's much more fun than puzzles like "remember that heavy armor exists" or "spot the mohawk"

Finally, a fellow tomb of the giants enjoyer. I’ve always felt this area has never gotten its flowers in ds1, admittedly it’s not a perfect area, but it’s very unique and very memorable especially when compared to what it’s surrounded by in the 2nd half of the game

I thought I was the only one who appreciated weapon durability in DS2. It's one of the few times in these games where the game actually incentivises you to carry and use multiple weapons.

I actually like Irithyll Dungeon and the jailers in DS3. I really dig how oppressive the place feels, and it's designed quite well. The jailers themselves are ridiculously cruel, and their mechanic of draining your max health on sight is very creative (and sadistic). Thankfully they're placed in such a way where you can always deal with them somehow. The final room with all those jailers at the end is bullshit, but hilarious. I think I managed to kill all of them once, but it's honeslty not worth it. There's a few more really good pranks the game pulls on you here, like the basilisk surprise gank or the infinite rats. Great area.

A new Bopper video about FromSoftware? I can't wait to watch it, especially since I have discovered I am deathly allergic to any footage of the 2024 video game Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi, developed by ZRIGN. This news has left me devastated, so I am excited to see something I can watch instead of the 2024 video game Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi, developed by ZRIGN. While the 2024 video game Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi, developed by ZRIGN, is a Souls-like game, I am confident that there will be no mention nor showcase of the 2024 video game Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi, developed by ZRIGN, within at least the first 17 minutes of this video, as this video appears to focus on games directly developed by FromSoftware as opposed to games that merely mimic their game design, such as the 2024 video game Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi, developed by ZRIGN. Thank you, Bopper, for releasing a video to fill the void created by my condition preventing me from watching or playing the 2024 video game Halluci-Sabbat of Koishi, developed by ZRIGN, and I wish you and Nin a RenMerry Christmas.
