Question.l? Why did you use the ply wood. I bought a house and there is 1.5 in think of wood screwed into the wall above the fireplace where the last owner had there tv. I have a samsung the frame tv and I want to mount it up there but the brackets for it aren’t in the center of the tv so the wood that is up there won’t work because it’s in the middle. I have to either add wood or take the one down but idk the purpose for the wood. Please help me??? I’m searching for answers…
ОтветитьYo solo necesito un nivel de mano y un taladro y la tv y listo pegado en la pared 😊
ОтветитьGreat work!! However, there’s a big flaw here… you can’t miss it.. huge eyesore
ОтветитьToo much bro 🤣🤣 I would rather pay
ОтветитьIsn’t it too high?
Ответитьeste aspiraba a oposicionar para la N.A.S.A.
ОтветитьAssembly meticulousness and workmanship are meticulous.
But the TV was mounted too high. I think it's wrong.
It's as simple as that. Using several of Einstein's equations, a large array of power tools and some annoying disco music you can have this done in almost 40 hours!
ОтветитьAs a installer...This is the type of guy i would hate to have as a customer...lol..the only thing i would do, is paint the plywood too...but it didnt need to be cut to exact size (the thing is hidden behind the tv..and once its fasten to the studs...4 , half inch lag bolts would do the job just right because that plywood is thick enough to hold even a 85 inch tv ..job done in 45 minutes instead of 4 hours
ОтветитьVideo normal speed me hota to jyada Acha rahata
ОтветитьWhile on the wall, can the TV be slid back on forth on the rails to line up with the couch/bed etc?
ОтветитьBella canzone, ma soprattutto un buon lavoro. È possibile sapere il titolo e artista di questo pezzo Dance per favore?
ОтветитьAre you a math teacher?
Such good example of planning. Love how you showed all the work to you did and nice B-roll footage of getting the hardware 🎉
So much FF is not required ....
ОтветитьNo shade but as a tv mounting pro of 15 years and business owner of over 6 years i must say... this was EXTREMELY unnecessary, time consuming and most importantly.. LESS STABLE. you could have simply drilled 2 holes in the middle of the bracket and used (2) 4" lags , with 4 toggles to add a little extra hold. (2) 4" lags in an actual 2 x 4 stud are exponentially stronger than 4 bolts into 1/2" of plywood. It was probably 3/4 at first but when you sunk in the bolts it took off about a quarter inch.. you have over 100 lbs being held up by a 1/2" piece of plywood.. id NEVER do that at a customer's home.. i don't care how pretty you made it look.. it wasnt the smartest thing to do. Then couple that with the fact that the more you extend the TV from its base the more force you put on that plywood..up to 6x the tvs normal weight..but hey, makes for good content..i guess..

ОтветитьHuh, paper-taping the little bags to collect drywall dust is so simple probably everyone does it, but I usually just vaccum. Which I probably still would, but at least it's less getting kicked around during thhe process. Thanks!
ОтветитьAll that and you didn’t hide the power cord!! Lol
ОтветитьVery well done
ОтветитьCome to uk do mine 🙏
ОтветитьMy exact plan for my living room tv over fireplace. Nice to see it in action.
ОтветитьAre there steel stud or wood?
Ответитьexcellent travail ? Puis-je avoir le titre et interprète de la bande son ? Merci et encore bravo !👋👋👍👍
Ответитьthanks bro
ОтветитьExcellent!! Good job
ОтветитьWao!! Good Job!!
ОтветитьIts so complicate
Ответитьhohoho
ОтветитьGreat work made me look like a amateur lol. I used 2x4s to mount my 55 in my guest bedroom because it wouldn't center as well. Loved your idea though.
ОтветитьI LOVE the way you did this!! I have the same problem, my studs don’t line up & this is the best version of fixing that problem I’ve seen so far! I’m on my way to Home Depot now lol
Ответить800 bucks for an 82 inch tv lol what kinda garbage is that ? Pathetic
ОтветитьHello, this was a really useful guide. What thickness plywood did you use?
ОтветитьReally nice video but annoying music.
ОтветитьWhy not just add more stud and redo the drywall. Now your living room looks like a warehouse
ОтветитьWOW, good job. Could you come to my home? LOL.
ОтветитьMy house was built in 1976 and we have a chimney in the family room with rocks and I was wondering if I can put the plywood on top of the rocks. just like you did but on top of rocks. I know under the rocks there is a metal lath and they apply mortar to place the rocks. but before all that I'm assuming they frame all with 2x4 and plywood. I'm hopping that my 1/2 inch plywood will be enough to do the job like you did and my tv is 70" I don't want to end up with a tv on the floor.

I love the video! I am going to do this same thing as I have a similar 3 stud setup. Is 3/4” birch plywood way overkill for the 100lbs tv and mount? Is 1/2” more than sufficient?
ОтветитьGood gotdamn video
ОтветитьBig TV.
ОтветитьTOO MUCH WORK FOR A SIMPLE TV MOUNTING
ОтветитьNo tilt?
Wrong mount?
Answers to my prayers!! Wasn't going to trust an expensive t.v. to some drywall anchors! What type of wood and what were the measurements?👍😁👍
ОтветитьYou must be an engineer by trade. Although I admire your passion and ingenuity, it's definitely overkill. This TV mount is designed to mount directly to the studs, which are 16 inches apart in most homes. Theoretically, the mount doesn't even have to be perfectly centered (although we all strive for that), because you can center the TV with the swivel if it's off an inch or two.
ОтветитьI could’ve mounted that for you in 15-20 minutes
ОтветитьYou really take pride in doing it just right! Inspiring to watch.
ОтветитьAwesome video. About to do my tv like this and had the same plan in mind.
