I am Portuguese, no cop, no gun and I am certainly no Clint Eastwood. So the line does work for me. I am gonna sue this film.

After watching the parody of this scene in Hollywood Shuffle, it's just plain hilarious, now.

This would never be allowed today. In San Francisco we let the criminals take whatever they want and leave freely. The cops would be punished for doing their job.

Believe it or not, Clint Eastwood served during the Korean War, and as far as I know; the military only served black coffee in those days. That, and a tiny bit of sugar to help brighten it up but that stuff would usually go bad during shipping.
