How To Use VLC Video Source In OBS - THERE IS NO PLUGIN - But it will work.

I am using VLC source, but I would like to have it play a station ID or bumper video every 15 mins or so. Is it possible to do this?

Window capture seems to work better for streaming, the VLC Source mode stutters a lot for me. Not sure why.

Very cool. However, how do you make it so that the songs are randomized every time you switch scene? The "shuffle playlist" feature seems to be limited to randomizing the list once during each OBS Studio session and whenever you switch back and forth between the scene it will always start with the same song. I want it to play a random song from the playlist every time I switch to that scene without having to restart OBS Studio.

this s great.... but each file next on the playlist in VLC wont save the different scopes of the different files played, i have to resize them in obs while playing as different sources are scope 16:9 and next will be 4:3 etc with every file that plays using the VLC i have to resize the scope after every file ends.

How to use subtitles? I've got that checked and they don't work. Is there any solution to this ?

Shuffle doesn't work for me. It always just plays the VLC playlist in the order it's in within VLC.

lol that video actually helped me a lot ... checked other videos and downloaded vlc 3.0.8 which is a "newer" version i guess but its not 64 bit, this way i also got the vlc-source available, thanks man!
