Well there goes our trip to the Amazon. Very corrupt culture. Many of the same kind of people have come to America and have made things much worse.

So sorry to hear this. I had to send money to Brasil to get a buddy out with his brother. They lost everything including 2 GS 1250 BMW,s. . After obtaining emergency passports from the embassy in Rio , they flew home to the USA with only the shirts on there backs. Bolivia , Same story from another friend with his wife also on a BMW. Things are a changing people. Sometime adventure finds you without looking for it . I found this out in Africa. Hope you continue . Mark, Miami

WOW!!! I usually watch your videos for information on where to ride when I finally make it to South America. Today I watched your video for pure enjoyment and it didn't disappoint. But there's no way I'll be putting this trip on my bucket list, at least not with my GSA. By the way, is that radio guy interviewing a frustrated court lawyer?

Quick technical question im debating on getting either way a older africa twin 2017 or newer 2024 (I have the money for either) have you tried the newer version and is it worth the extra money? (I like the cruise control and tubeless on the 2024).

Who’s the guy interviewing you? He seems to insinuate you were to be blame for it. Indeed on my travels I’ve heard of those “misunderstandings” often enough. You dealt with him very well, and looks like you’re having quite a jungle adventure.

Provokative language, ridiculing people just for the show-pose. Get a smaller bike if you don‘t like this type of bike transfer and dependencies on people with wildly different plans for their business and days.

Really cool to see this part of the wold, but I don't understand why the guy doing the interview hijacked the story with his cross examination. It was a big distraction from an amazing travel tale. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

I have come to the conclusion early this morning. If there was a giant hornets nest between you and a new town in the middle of nowhere, U 2 would choose going through the hornets nest and getting stung multiple times just to get to the desolate town you had never been to before instead of turning back and not ever seeing it. 🤪🤪🙄🙄

The guy doing the interview sounded like a horses ass, sounded like a typical politician spinning everything you were saying, what a dip shit, hey there guys, yeah I’ve been anticipating this segment, you guys been down there a long ass time, are you both still there? cannot wait to see what is next, and yes that language barrier has got to be a royal pain, you going one way and your bike going another, I guess to happy go lucky attitude I suppose, anyway, you both hang in there, excellent videos my friends, actually the best, you may have read this book but well worth reading, by Clement Salitori, I think title was no road through it, taking his motorcycle through the jungles South America and trying to cross the Darian gap, take care, your awesome couple. This takes the phrase “off the beaten path” to ridiculous new levels, man. If your motorcycling sanity wasn’t already in question, this has removed all doubt for me. Just how casually you two crazies seem to navigate this level of dubious uncertainty is absolutely impressive & inspirational.
