I have an app on my mac that will not let me uninstall. It's driving me nuts. It says it's open when it's not. I've gone into utilities and activity monitor to quit the app but it continually pops back in there and shows running. How to I fully delete if that app won't stay close?

That’s not Uninstalling an app - that’s throwing it away. To completely uninstall it you have to throw away all associated Cache files, plists and preferences - which is much more complicated than you are alluding to here. There are some great tools that do this properly though.
