Rails API: Setting up Cors - [003]

if ur using the latest version ruby 3.0.0 and rails > 6.1
go to config/initializers/cors.rb and uncomment the block of code instead of adding it to application.rb

Doesn't work for me. I'm using Rails 5.2.3

after every step following here at the end when the "localhost:3000/v1/contacts" is opened there is nothing on it just brackets are there please help in this......?
